Ok Pool is now open

couple of know issues
1. Gmail works ok but some other email don't get the token
2. emails tend to goto spam folder

these are just some issue due to using latest version of MPOS

The pool has a proportional payout, fixed 1.5% fee, based in New York with a Gigabit network connection
http://photon1.blakecoin.com  (using the newer MPOS with email based security)

This is a temporary pool server while the work on merge mining Blakecoin and Photon is done!

why is everyting rejected ? I'm new to this please help me Sad never had rejects or other problems should I just wait ? or did I something wrong ?

Who's the original poster for this coin?  That introduction/specification post is pretty dismally laid out. Undecided

I just joined this pool, I'm only getting rejected shares.  Any ideas?

any problems with cgminer rejects/h-not-zero try this cgminer: http://www.blakecoin.org/cgminer-alt-pool-photon1.7z

This miner works on the pool:
http://www.blakecoin.org/cgminer-alt-pool-photon1.7z

Becareful when using mining software. Sandbox it or use something like virtualbox.org.

you can compile from source if you want always the safest way  Cool

I am using this pool with the:
cg miner for mining Photon build for windows
http://www.mediafire.com/download/684hf76zz97ak45/Photon_cgminer-blake256.7z

I signed up for the pool, confirmed, and made a worker.

I use the line:
cgminer --blake256 -o stratum+tcp://photon1.blakecoin.com:3334 -u Weblogin.Worker -p Worker password

I keep getting [H-not-zero] and share rejected.

Because I'm too lazy to do my own research right now, does anyone know how the difficulty for a coin like this compares to scrypt?  I get 3X my normal GPU hashrate, but I see the dif is already over 2 million.  Is there any way to relate the two algorithms?  What would be a low dif and a high dif for blake256?  I'm still getting blocks, but I'm wondering at what point it will become inefficient.  I'm running at 1.5 Gh/s and 900 Mh/s.

Also, thanks for everyone's help and thanks to BlueDragon747 for the pool work.

Photon will be merge mined on my Blakecoin pools in the near future

atm I am working on a temporary pool for Photon while I work on the Merge mine code and front end for a multi coin pool Cool

Merged = mined at same time no pool switching

Virtually a blakecoin clone, not very interesting

That‘s right. But compared with mounts of other scrypt-based and quark-cloned coins, photon is at least more meaningful although is blakecoin clone!
