Mining Pool Hub
MiningPoolHub's Phoenixcoin wallet couldn't find peer time to time.
Can you tell me stable peer that stands for a long time?

Not sure why NiceHash thinks the difficulty is too low. P2Pool sets it accordingly to its hash power which is rather inconsistent recently. It solves blocks just fine though.

It seems to me that they are reducing the load and bandwidth consumption of their servers by receiving and sending only shares with difficulty 15 or higher. So to work with NiceHash your P2Pool should advertise or set default difficulty to 15 or higher.

And realy, you should put all your efforts into adding PXC to at least one other exchange because Cryptsy seems to be going MtGox style.

Cryptsy is losing trade volume and it doesn't seem good. However PXC deposits and withdrawals work fine there. Cryptopia is another exchange. I'm focused on NeoScrypt now to improve and add functionality. It's mature enough and shouldn't be limited to cryptocurrency only use.

I seem to be getting very poor hash speeds with cg miner 3.7.8 only around 30K/Hs with an Nvidia 660 GTX , is this normal as I have seen others getting way over 200 on the old thread. Can someone help

What thread?

Perhaps, he should be looking at this CCminer thread:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/neoscrypt-algo-for-ccminer-and-nvidia-card-call-for-donation-916336
you can check your parameter of setting or change the mine tool.

launched in 2013... 1st wave of altcoins...
a bright name...

how about new life by arising from the ashes?

Let's say it's in the process. I have underestimated human greed back in 2013. That's why Phoenixcoin is where it is now.

That would be awesome to see PhoenixCoin rise from the ashes because this is a sweet coin and wicked logo I would love nothing more than to see this coin make some moves in the near future Cheesy Cheers

Pro miners don't hold. They sell as soon as they can. There are small time miners and crypto enthusiasts who hold, but they don't make much difference on the market. Those who dump hundreds of thousand PXC in one go are not miners usually.

There has been some major PXC dumping activity recently. Not bad time to get in at 50+ sats. The 1st reward halving isn't far away, too.

Neither are people ready to sell or buy much coins and there is not much incentive for any serious investor to buy only 0.1 BTC worth of PXC or some similar coin, that few coins do not give any decent share of total mined coins. If I want to buy 1+ BTC worth of PXC I'd need to rise price to sky and there is no good reason to do that. If instead I place 1+ BTC buy order at 50 Satoshi no one would sell because they'd think price will 2x or even 100x the next week. You miners have to change your habbits realy which means spread coins around at any price. Yes, that means dump down to 1 Satoshi if neccessary to grow community else coins like Phoenixcoin are going nowhere. Just mining and holding your "prescious" coins simply won't work, that should be obvious by now.

Just in case you haven't noticed, we have another exchange for PXC. AllCrypt is out of business after the last hack and theft of funds, so Cryptopia is the 2nd PXC market (PXC/BTC) while Cryptsy remains the primary one. Would be nice to see more trade volume at Cryptopia though.

might i suggest an alternative market Wink

The old feathercoin thread where wolf and a few others where posting.

If you use a NeoScrypt kernel bundled with CGminer 3.7.8, replace it with a newer Wolf's one.

I tried that and got an error I renamed the file etc. I can not remember the exact error

And this website did a windows compiled version now that the source has been released, but it not work on my rig:

http://cryptomining-blog.com/4748-updated-ccminer-1-6-3-git-fork-by-tpruvot-with-neoscrypt-support-2/

That miner wont work for me as I have a GTX660 it is not a compute 5.0 or 5.2 card.
