It is always a pleasure to see a coins so old, but with the dev still following it.
Nawadays devs abandon projects after 1 month.
But if you want this coin to reach more people and get there interess,it need and upgrade of the code and rebrand, new logo and name.
Otherwise it will continue like this forever.

Can't get the wallet to work. Are nodes still active? If not, what will it take to get one active again?

yep, apart that there are dozen and dozen other coins with the same characteristics....

I think only a limited number will survive and even less thrive for many reasons.

And hard to tell which one will as so many events can happen jeopardizing promissing projects
