Of course, wallet files also differ.
What do you mean by 'applies'? QuazarCoin software (like all coins which are based on the CryptoNote) doesn't relate to Bitcoin software.
The Bitcoin-Qt's blockchain and wallet files are compatible between different operating systems (Linux and Windows).
Whereas in CryptoNote they aren't. A little bit inconvenient... Embarrassed

It's true. All data which are saved to PC (blockchain, for example) isn't portable between different OS.

There is info about wallet files:

new site is nice, but i have problem transfer wallet from windows to linux,

Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "wallet.bin"

in log file is:

bytecoin wallet v0.8.7.64(dd9f09e)

You should transfer only %walletname%.keys file. And while wallet opening use command simplewallet.exe --wallet-file=%walletname% without extension

Is it worth mining with a hashrate of 3?

Of course, you can find blocks.

I mined 3 days and found nothing, and then found 3 blocks sequentially.

I can't load my wallet anymore. I get an error:

Error: failed to load wallet: failed to read file "wallet"

Dev, any idea how to fix this? I'm using Mac os X.

Do you have the latest build for MAC - https://mega.co.nz/#!rFhFFAiT!VFjrMbyNRdA-F2-CXJ-1ADnJOqBju_htVoaJBxcEs8s?

yes i do

My build for Win-32 works fine.

Do you have these programs: MSVC 2012 or later, CMake 2.8.6 or later, and Boost 1.53 or later?

You may download them from:
http://www.microsoft.com/
http://www.cmake.org/
http://www.boost.org/

If the build won't work after this, PM me, pls.

I know in CryptoNote technology, blockchain formats between Windows and Linux systems differ.
But is this the case with the wallet file formats? I couldn't open a wallet file created with Ubuntu  in a Windows environment.
Also I  want to know if this applies to Bitcoin-Qt software (blockchain, wallet file). Thanks.
