If we take into consideration the enormous growth of this coin in past 30 days, the level of hate doesn't surprise me much. Than again there are couple of people on this site (they are probably the same ones who keep bashing Quark on other sites as well) who keep hitting Quark so hard that you have to wonder, why are they doing so. Those are the people with awful trust levels etc. They surely have different agendas. Smart people who are reading these forums and investing into Quark will realize this for sure and will not pay attention at these monkeys.
I also wander if we can banned them altogether, but than it might look that we are trying to shut em up and hide something.
Maybe the best thing is to ignore their posts, since we answered each and single one of their accusations at least 10 times so far. If we ignore them, they will get tired and they will stop doing it.

On the other hand, we were all in the anticipation of the Chinese start trading it. It didn't happen and people got disappointed, the price shows this really well. For me it really doesn't matter, if it wasn't added today it will be added in the future. We took a hard one in the chin today, but OK, we continue further. To all the disappointed people, just take a look in the past 30 days at the enormous progress this coin has made. This should give you courage for the future.

We must keep working and stay positive.. Go Quark!!
+10 This is one of the wisest post in this thread.

Yes, of course this is wise.  People who worked in trading securities with any experience realise that seeing FUD spreading is always a sign of underlying strength.
QRK has the potential to follow BTC directly... the reason it is not already priced in $$ (rather than cents) is because there is not yet enough infrastructure.. the coin is young, and things have happened very fast...

There are many big potential buyers, but they cannot get enough supply. Spreading FUD is not so much about getting price down, but more about scaring supply onto the market.

You meant sifcoin's influence, right? Quarkcoin Dev stole sifcoin sourcecode, removed the copyrights, then released it. Ironically, Baritus stole quarkcoin sourcecode, removed copyrights and rebranded it as Securecoin, neither of which is the point.

Incorrect. Sifcoin authors did not add a copyright notice. I ADDED a copright notice for Sifcoin to acknowledge their contribution. Baritus did the opposite and removed the Quark copyright notice.

Also wasn't Sifcoin heavily premined?

and there in lies the problem, unfairly frontloaded reward.

Just like Bitcoin and almost every other crypto-currency. Read up on the history of Peercoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin, etc.

bullshit. Bitcoin has just over half of its supply, well into year 3. Neither Peercoin, Litecoin, Feathercoin(and most other alts for that matter, except GLD and MEC) have this much of a frontloaded reward. You got to greedy, went to far, and now its about to start tumbling down. Get out while you can.

Riiiight

BTC first half mined by about 20 people then mid a few hundreds - then BFL scam - now KnC 3 TH and co - ?

wow - you are a genius -  how do we stay upright in your intellectual presence ?

how many more bagholders? After i finish up here, i have to head over to the MEC thread and get a headcount. Building a datamap of users/coins/realnames. should be really  Shocked opening

Might not be half as interesting to see your real name, and owned wallets with various coins in them Smiley
Even more interesting would be to see you purchase large amounts of QRK soonish since it's so cheap, to reap the rewards of your hard work in spreading pointless FUD  Grin

I was a bit angry at first but now I just laugh at your post.

I'm amazed by the amount of obviously coordinated FUD and shitstorm campaigns.

The greater public, is equally amazed at how such a worthless coin could be receiving so much attention. Time to nip it in the bud.
You don't even know that is no where near the attention it is still about to receive

No matter whether one hates it or not, its influence can not be denied by anyone

The point is, Quarkcoin in and of its self is unremarkable and is a de-evolution in cryptocurrency. 6 hashing functions make it sound all that, but when you get down to the I/O's its nothing special and will fail long before the first breaking of SHA-256 occurs.
I'm not sure what you're brabbling, no, I was talking about Quarkcoin's influence. The coin everybody talks about. Not SIF which basically 0.001% of the crpyotcoin community even heard of. You know, influence. Not technology, not what it is at its roots, just its mere influence that can't be denied. Have you seen any other coin that is so often discussed? And most of all constantly promoted by its haters?

^unworthy of response.

It is a bit sad in a way that some reddit kiddies decide they want to influence the market, have a coordinated FUD campaign set up...and worst thing, are probably going to profit well from it too.

I expect to see more such coordinated attacks on various coins over the coming year(s).

I guess in the real world it's the hedgefunds and banks that manipulate at the expense of others. In the cryptoworld we now have Reddit...

ha ha well summarized;

i'm frankly amazed they can get away from WoW this long - must be some good money in it ?

I stand corrected, but enlighten me since i have your attention. Explain the frontloaded block rewards and state for public record the current amount of coins in circulation, current block reward, and percentage of total supply the current supply represents. thanks.

See here for a short explanation on the coin distribution model:

I will write something more detailed in time.

The other information you requested is public.
