Ironically, Baritus stole quarkcoin sourcecode, removed copyrights and rebranded it as Securecoin, neither of which is the point. The point is, Quarkcoin in and of its self is unremarkable and is a de-evolution in cryptocurrency. 6 hashing functions make it sound all that, but when you get down to the I/O's its nothing special and will fail long before the first breaking of SHA-256 occurs.
