Your thousands of coins don't get succesfully transferred to an exchange and always get stuck? That's probably because you have too many small amounts of QRK in your wallet, which you can't send in one big transaction, you'll have to do many small. Open the debug window and type: sendtoaddress QbrKoVbkqFem4KVPaTVZhotw4Dhd1RQBuc 500 (change to your address if you want to  Cheesy, 500 is the amount of coins)
After pressing enter immediately press arrow up and enter again a few times, this is a lot faster than doing the transactions manually in the Qt window. If the coins did not get through run quarkcoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet to save the coins and try a smaller transaction. A transaction can contain up to 160 prior transactions, so if you got many p2pool transactions of 0.1 qrk you could send up to 16 QRK at a time.

So suppose I have to manage a lot of transactions from a lot of addresses, this could be very annoying on the long-term no ? If there is a need to "reset" the wallet or making a script that involves splitting a transaction into a smaller chunk ?

Or it's just if A send to B, and there's less than 160 different "A" address, B would only send balance / sum(different A) ?
I don't really get this point... Is it really useful in the process ? Is there any way to get rid of that ? Shocked

Wonder how soon? Still time to buy?

Last time at that price.

Probably. But is there anything new to that tweet? Has btc38 really announced anything?
I'm wondering about the same. We should ask twitter guy.

That link has been active for over a week. The person who twittered it doesn't give any support for his position other than mentioning it will happen soon. It could be old news that he is reporting and hoping to influence people toward qrk.

Cryptsy has QRK creeping up.  To .000138 now.  Maybe the new bottom is .00011.

Anyway, I mine on several CPUs using the "Legacy" minerd for win 6 64 bit found in the depths of this thread.  I don't have any recent machines, but I'll give you an idea of my hashrates:

AMD Phenom II x4 965 be:  121.43 khash/s  times 4, of course

Intel Xeon X3430 at 2.4 Ghz: 87.43 khash/s times 4

Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 at 2.33Ghz : 71.28 khash/s times 2

AMD Phenom II x4 905:  89.45 khash/s  times 4

I use pool with http://www.coinmine.pl/qrk/ and I am averaging about 24 QRK/day since the reward was halved to 16.

Not too great, but steady.  I welcome recommendations for improvement.

Juan

damn i only get 60 khashes/s per core on my phenom II x4
are you using this? https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.2948566

Nope, my is the one where they upped the proggies to sourceforge and there were several versions including: i7, Bulldozer, AMD, etc. and Legacy.  Sorry, I can't remember the exact name.  BTW, that deneb chip, 965 runs real hot 60-62 C when it is hashing.  I may be burning it up, don't know!

was it that? http://sourceforge.net/projects/philosopherstone/files/QRK/

I have an I7 4core and make 138khashes.  Is there a block explorer? I cannot even find a compiled miner to use for a pool. Am I so stupid?

Thanks

I think you should be getting a lot more than 138 kH/s with an i7. I assume you mean per thread. My i5 averages over 140 (per thread). Or are they really that close performance-wise?

There is a block explorer.

Miners were tough to find. I found one on r/QuarkCoin somewhere.

i'm probably not hashing enough, i get max 220-230 khashes second

i'll need a better CPU or get multiple computers to do the job

I don't think you'll get much action from anything other than an i5 or i7.

anyone have transactions without confirmations since 1 o 2 days? i have this problem, my money is lost in the web :s

When you have sent transaction that after hours and hours still show a ? for confirmations then they never actually sent and it is an easy fix to get them back in your wallet balance.  This tends to happen more often when sending amounts that are large.

1. First backup your wallet just in case
2. Close client
3. Restart client with the -salvagewallet command (eg quarkcoin-qt.exe -salvagewallet) either from command line or make a shortcut with modified properties.
4. Wait...it can take a long time
5. Eventually the client will open and the coins should all be back in your Balance.

Hope that helps.

what about FX 8350?

Not sure, since I've only tried the i5.

Just out of curiosity, is it a laptop? FWIW I also tried mining with an i7 on a laptop and my desktop i5 got twice the performance. But my laptop runs incredibly hot. I'm wondering if heat plays a factor.

You transaction ID did not reach the blockchain.
Try paying a small fee next time.
Backup your wallet.
Then you will need to run -salvage
All will be well.
