Well, quark will probably end up worth more than FTC. Not sure if that means FTC will come down a bunch but it's going to take 120 years to mint 380 million quarks and 8 years to mint that many FTC.

How high do you think Quark will go?

There isn't a cap on total number of coins with quark coin?

read this thread
explains coins per month etc
http://forum.quarkcoin.org/Thread-Quarkcoin-is-1-month-old-today

difficulty going up, blocks of coins halving, how many coins per week etc

I thought I saw a Quark coin free giveaway thread here at bitcointalk.org

Can someone give me the link, please, I would like some free Quark coins.

Thank you

I think it was a joke one and the mod removed it already. someone said they were giving away 8million of them.

Yes, that was the thread I was looking for. Is anyone giving away free quark coins?

some people may give a few away, i think there was a thread early on. Diff has skyrocketed today im seeing 370 diff in the wallet mininginfo?? that is sick.
Gpu mining may have started and also this new cpu miner is making the diff go up too i guess. Block reward will half again in a while so just start mining now i guess or buy a bit whilst still cheap.

Yes, the price will also skyrocket soon...

It's fast, I'll post then all in one place,

the source code:
http://stonefoz.myfastmail.com/cpuminer-quark.zip
the binary: please check if it loads the right libraries. "minerd-bin" is the real thing and "minerd" is a script to set the LD_LIBRARY_PATH current directory. Who knows? you might already have libjannson installed.

The pool won't accept any new connections, my current miners that are running are running ok, but any new connections are not happening.

Amd optimized cpuminer. probably works on Intel? but code had been targeted for amd with caches at least as bit as the old Opterons.

Must be built with CFLAGS="-msse2", tested on 64bit linux. "jh_sse2_opt32.h" has not been edited for 32bit builds and is currently broken.

4Ghz bulldozer is running 107/Khs per core. Total 428/Khs
2.4Ghz Opteron is running 78/Khs per core. Total 312/Khs.
2.8Ghz Semepron 145 is running 112/Khz per core.

Will be working on replacing sse2 with newer avx, should greatly improve the "JH" has sections along with "Groestl". Those two lost the SHA3 partially  based on speed. Skien, BMW, and Blake already run screeming fast.

any step by step linux guide for this. I only have used gigawatts auto install guide for the quarkwallet, how to get this running with it?

Any plans for a windoze build.  I am not savvy on windows, but would love to have a version to throw on a windows box.
