Quark
I was recommending Quark way back in July 2013. It's since appreciated 50X. Let's see if the case still stacks up.

Q1: Inflation: The inflation problem is solved, most of the coins have already been issued and the inflation rate is now 0.5%. You'll hear people complaining about the 'pre-mine' – that's a really bullish sign. People don't complain about coins with unfair pre-mines, they ignore them. If there are complainers, it means they want in . . . but . . . yesterday. Well done Quark. (3/3)

Q2: Development: Community effort based on donations – same problem as Bitcoin (0/3)

Q3: Decentralization: Quark attempts to solve the hardware centralization problem through complexity. The proof-of-work algorithm is complex, so it's difficult to program for GPUs and GPUs are poorly suited to that kind of work. It'll slow down FPGA and ASIC development too, but they'll show up once the reward is high enough. Overall, a good effort – (2/4)

Quark Verdict (5/10) – There are still possible 100X returns with this coin.

I must say, well thought out post.  Really well done.

Can  anyone list the exchanges currently pairing QRK?
Among them, which one does not require ID verification to deposit / withdraw?

BTC38

Cryptopia

BX thailand

Bittylicious

I think cryptopia doesn't need ID verification.
btc38 needs shitbook, so its a big nono.

Where would the wallet.dat file be located on mac?
Default place would be:

~/Library/Application Support/Quarkcoin

Thanks but just checked and nothing there. When i search for wallet.dat or quark on system search the only thing that turn up is the QT wallet.
You might need to actively look in the 'Library'.  Look up how to access it depending on your OS version.

I was one of the core members at the beginning of quark but jumped out because i was able to see the jump and dump scam of some people who had control over quark.I tried my best to warn people but a lot of them got ripped off.I was looking always at quark if its going to revive since it was the first and only coin in which i participated.I had in the past 2 months a lot of argumentation if Quark is still hold in majorty at scammers or not.
We analysed the issues quark had and hope all old scammers jumped out of quark  however
quark has no real leadership and the community of Quark is extremly small ,not like the good old one.
I have invested at the beginning of may some money in Quark and am holding it with a goal of $1 per coin.

However i'm aware that Quark needs to change quickly to reach that goal since we are currently in a crypto hype which can last maybe for next 6-12 months before it goes down and majority of coins will disappear again.

Since i'm in internet marketing for arround 21 years now fulltime i'm well aware how to get back attention at Quark at low cost.I also watched Kolins work getting a hype and he did in a marketing view a good job using low cost solutions with big effects.

I would like to offer my time in promoting Quark back to top using some mass inforamation techniques which are very targeted and powerfull but low cost.I will invest my time for free since i will also benefit from my coins if the price goes up.However there are items which you can't get for free which are needed for this kind of promotion.

I checked everything and the cost of such a promotion which will bring back a lot of attention to Quark and get us surely many new members to the quark community is arround 30.000 Quarks.

I really hope i can reach that donation to do my part to promote quark successfull back to the top.

I will start my work when donations reach 10.000 coins to show proof and results to the community in the hope we can collect the rest 20.000 so i can finish the heavy promotion.

Goal is to redirect crypto interrested people to Quarks websites/community to get them to join Quark.
We are talking here about big numbers like daily 10.000's crypto fans checking our community which will surely end in new members and investors.
A solid community and new investors will surely help quark rise quickly.

If you have any questions let me know and i try to answer them

My Wallet ID for Donation so i can start the promotion :

Let's see if the big wallet holders will support the promotion of Quark this time

Update to the latest version, relpace the wallet.dat file with your old one and you should be okay.

If this doesn't work then try the Slack.

Thank you my friend.

Yes? DI is your friend? Ok I got the full picture I guess.
Sorry guys this is too easy! You are creative people, maybe think of another role for DI than a big Chinese Quark investor  Wink

That"s funny. I am totally transparent with who I am, my name is Craig Pond and I live in New Zealand. I am the father of 4 beautiful children and I have exceptionally, absolutely, beautiful wife of who I am in love with dearly.

I would not do wrong. Please ask me of who I am my friend before you do what you are currently doing.

Aha, and you have no idea who DI is?

Edit 1. Please stop calling me a friend, because it is obvious you don't feel it that way Wink

I love you man.

Its been years since I bought Quark and now the wallet V10 wont work and the exchanges are a little funky to find quark trading.  Looks like crypsy and coins E took a chunk of my coins but i still have some.  CAN anyone help me with a wallet update?  Thanks
