About The Quantum Resistant Ledger (QRL)

The QRL is a fully open source (MIT Licensed), externally audited enterprise-grade blockchain platform secure against an attack from quantum computers.

This includes:
  • Foundational security: To achieve post-quantum security we utilise IETF specified XMSS; a hash-based, forward secure signature scheme with minimal security assumptions that provides reusable addresses. The addition of an extensible address format ensures we are ready for any new post-quantum signature scheme out of nice NIST while ensuring 100% post-quantum coverage. Implementation has been further verified with two audits, one by red4sec and another by x41 D-sec.
  • Developer friendliness: Extensive documentation and an API reference gives the tools to build anything, today, on an industrial grade platform that will survive tomorrow.
  • User orientated: A consistent UI throughout the whole product space gives a uniform experience accompanied by a full suite of products with binaries.

Congratulations to Peter Shor on being the 2018 recipient of the Micius Quantum Prize, for his groundbreaking theoretical work in the field of quantum computation!

Without his work, the current landscape of quantum computing would look very different!

Friendly reminder: Automatic QRL Token Migration end-date in 8 days

If you haven't already, mark your calendars for June 15th, 2019 2000 UTC

The current token migration process is automatic and almost immediate. After June 15, however, the process for migrating ERC20s will be manual, and may take an indeterminate amount of time. Additionally, each manual migration will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. It's strongly recommended that any and all users who still have QRL ERC20's to migrate them BEFORE the closure of automatic migration on June 15, 2000 UTC

What is The QRL?

The QRL is ...

Where can I get buy/trade QRL?

Copy-edited by a non-native speaker of English. Asian on board? Glass half full!

Fixed. Initially it was "Where can I get QRL?" to which I added in "buy/trade" last minute... and accidentally left in 'get'. It happens.

how?

We have an excellent migration guide on the front page of our documentation site https://docs.theqrl.org

- Video: https://docs.theqrl.org/tokenmigration/video/
- Text: https://docs.theqrl.org/tokenmigration/guide/
- Migration app: https://migration.theqrl.org/

Generally it comes down to creating an ethereum burn address from your QRL (mainnet) address (starts with a Q). The QRL sent to the burn address will be accounted for and in 24 - 72 hours you will see Quanta in your mainnet address. If there's any questions, we're here to help.

QRL's discord channel is remarkable.

#marketing channel has been removed.

Several foreign language channels, but no Chinese or Korean. Evidently they offended some industry players.

LOL. The moderator(s) [not just Jack] would piss off Asians with thousands of BTC to move into QRL. Those who have been on the slack and discord from the start have told me it is/was a recurrent trend. Those guys had bad English and some cultural missteps, and they would be lynched or eventually banned. So, they're off the radar.

And Jack Matier says:
Wanted to be ready on the off chance someone wanted to sell off a lot of Quanta at bargain basement prices through an OTC channel.

This is one stupid admission by one stupid buddy for posterity.

And Adam Koltun the wonder-boy anthropologist boasts:
i have wanted long hair my entire adult life and this job has allowed me to have it, so i am taking full advantage

Fighting words from someone who earned ridicule in his conference appearances.

This shit project is full of vegans and homosexual so it all was pretty much expected.

Sammy Yeung, calm down.

I've addressed you a few times over the last few months,

Is there something that hasn't been addressed here? Let me know and I'll address it.

A few months, what?

Let you know what? You have an impediment with English now?

Caught with your pants down self-dealing, and now acting all righteous. I need to go back to Psych 101. The world has changed. Are you playing the victim or challenging me to make you a martyr?

Hey Sammy, is this the proof of madness you were looking for?

QRL Dev meeting 30th May 2019

Good, gooooood.  That's a good boy.

Now, can the world get a better rep for QRL? We could use someone more respectable. Any grown-up will do.

If anything, that falls on me alone and not The QRL. To add, I've been transparent here, never hid behind anything. Cleared my orders in the public and everything. If you want to implicate me for putting in a buy order, then fine, but please do it through legal means.

You implicated yourself, buddy boy. You're a developer, the project gets it too. Sorry, that's how the adult world works.

The potential legal stench holds out many years. Any enemy can pick this one up and litigate risk-free. Not today, not tomorrow, but possibly years from now.

Sweet dreams.

Referring to "Evidently they offended some industry players." and your remarks about not having Korean and Chinese channels which are still slated to happen. When most things someone says is conjecture it tends to lose credence.

Conjecture?   Haha  LMAO

I don't need to prove anything. What I hear on the grapevine is enough for me and for those who have played this game before. You've offended people. Lost friends. Lost ground. All for the price of a smirk. Fools.

OTOH, you need to prove your credibility, now that you're implicated in self-dealing. Alberta, Switzerland, who can call in the future?
