Okay, getting support over at Discord. I see the wallet has a messaging function. Looking forward to investigating this.

IndiaMikeZulu

EDIT: whoooo! Managed a couple of transactions. Got a start on the OTS Key Index thang. Posted a message on the blockchain.

Thanks again to support.

Hi,

if you are referring to the official QRL wallet https://wallet.theqrl.org/
or the bittrex QRL wallet (your address starts with a "Q" in both cases) you are already a proud owner of the quantum resistant mainnet QRL coin.

If however you are storing your Quanta still in something like "myetherwallet", you still own the erc20 token.
You should migrate these to get the "real" QRL coins
taking the steps as explained here:

https://docs.theqrl.org/tokenmigration/guide/

Greetings. Could some one spare a moment to bring me up to date:

I stumbled through the conversion last year -- it was very well managed. Thank you.

My QRL wallet shows a nice balance of 'Quanta.' So, am I up to date? Do I need to take action?

Whooo! I'm on https://wallet.theqrl.org!!

Please accept my apologies, guys. Ill health in recent years has slowed me right down.

If y'all need a crypto favour in Australia, please PM me. And I will try to pop in more often. But I have liked this project since early on. Got vision.

EDIT: 'Extended message transaction functionality' Do I understand this correctly? Like . . . transaction comments? Wow, I'd be thrilled to hear this is the case. (My outfit got a whole project underway using 'tx comms')

I like the addition of the buy and sell option in the dropdown menu

@PQAdvantage, yeah very exited about NIST's progress on XMSS. The team should prepare something for when XMSS gets approved.

@Jackalist Re decentralisation: this is kicking of in a very positive way. Curious how you guys going to make voting possible. Only for contributors?

Re: Decentralisation

Among the features that's in the upcoming fork, decentralized on-chain poll support is one of the ones the team is the most excited about.

Right now there's active discussions through QIPS (QRL Improvement Proposals) which can be created by anybody, such as a recent one, "Implement dPoW" by a community member Machin, which results in discussion and is decided upon technical merit which we'd love for people to take part in: https://github.com/theQRL/qips/pull/10

As hinted at on our website, there will be a way to vote on these.

Anyone seen the new website shown on discord? The blue color looks a lot better than the pink.

Peter Waterland's amateur experiment with PoW phase and mining difficulty is now coming to bite hodlers of qrl.

Incidentally, this bombshell decision was suddenly dropped on the world. Zero prior consultation with community. Decentralization my ass.

You want an example of a professional presentation? Try this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qR-gTOVjtGI   It sounds better even though it's not in English

Just published the second part of a seven part series. This is a combined community effort to create a complete oversight of everything regarding Blockchains and quantum resistance. Please clap, share tweet and help spread some crucial info.

It is cool that the coin is secured from quantum computer, but I guess it will be the useless security for the next 10 years..

You wouldn't know it from their awful publicity, but they are laying the pipes for crypto permanence.
Hopefully they will make it, but nowadays it is useless technology IMO.

I read, that this team devotes a lot of attention to security. so, I think, that they will be able to achieve, what we expect from them. do not hurry with such decisions. everything should happen gradually. You should, think carefully every step. especially here
