Well done, like cointelegraph so much with their unique pictures on their posts
Areschen, if you're scared of the volatility of ETH you can simply exchange ETH for fiat the minute you receive your rent money. Or you can trade it for more REAL, since I expect this to be one of the more stable cryptocurrencies (after all, it is backed by physical real estate).
But im pretty sure ETH price will rise

If I use my REAL tokens to invest in an property, 90% of the rent for this property is distributed to the investors. Correct me if I'm wrong. Now my question. How do they pay out these profits? Will the investors get REAL tokens as a reward (like they are staking REAL) or will they get payed in an other crypto currency?

The rent is converted to ETH, You get a percentage of the total amount of the rent/ETH by the amount of REAL tokens you have invested minus the 10% for the REAL team.

I could be wrong, read the white paper on their page.

maybe someone can explain better.

I believe you got the explanation right. A good choice since ETH is such an established crypto that offers easy liquidity. Though a possible downside is the volatility that even a big crypto like ETH has. Of course, this can also be an upside, you get the ETH and ETH course rises, you are getting extra profits  Grin

I have a little bit confused . As you says , So if the ETH falls, Will I get extra loss ?

I thought about this as well.

Rent is converted to ETH, depending on the daily market rate. Assuming a projects monthly rate is the same, if ETH price goes down you will receive more ETH. If ETH daily price goes up you receive less ETH.

That is my take on it.

Yes it will definetly be like that. 2100$ for rent, if ethereum 300$ you'll get 7 ethereum, if ethereum 700$ you'll get 3 ethereum. Otherwise it won't make sense. Nobody would accept to pay rent base on cryptocurrency.

This rule is make sense. It can protect the interests of investors. cool

Real is quite inclusive, simply because it has high investment of its own, which gives credibility and trust to its investors, this allows for the inclusion of new users to crypto, because besides the possible profitability, it is closer to the investment base of the outside world , Not just as many projects in which the Devs are struggling without financial investment.
As quoted above, it will serve as the basis for many projects that will arise and some that have not gone before. Excellent, ICO model, investing in real is wise.  Wink

Congratulations on the success of the pre-sale. I really feel like this project is THE RE based one to take part in this year, and will set the mold others will try to clone.

This is one of the few projects where the team actually invested in their company, 1/3 mil! This does says something that they are committed to their project. Congrat Real.

supporting real for a long time. i have a question.  how will you distribute the dividends actually???  and may i know which country based company is REAL???

Dividends/profits are paid back in Ether, not REAL. I think this is all done by using smart contracts. The trading and selling of the rights to the investments (RPPs) will be done on the platform. I'm not sure if this will be done using traditional centralized exchange mechanisms or also by smart contracts.

Most of the team are from Spain, so I assume the company will be based there as well.
You are partially correct, REAL startup is incorporated out of Singapore, but is recruiting workers out of both, Barcelona, and Singapore. Unfortunately, it is not open to U.S based investors, based on the SEC securities regulations. Coinfabrik is the company who is handling the security audits. The company is legit, it has a U.E.N code, and a physical address.
The more tokens put forth into the crowd-funding of real estate properties, the fewer tokens will be available for circulation, in turn, driving the price of tokens up, causing a natural growth in initial liquidy. There is income to be made all around with this unique economy, from the tokens themselves, to the rental properties, and then the hard sales made from selling the property outright, which reimburses you your invested stake of tokens, plus generated profits from the sale. I can't invest, but like I said, I'm following this campaign closely, in order to learn, seeing how I've always been interested in real estate.

It does not make sense, If I understand it correctly I can buy the REAL tokens on the open market eventually, but as an American the SEC says I cannot invest in the ICO?Huh Crazy Crazy world.

That's the US's stupid laws, they make no sense. Thank god I live in Europe and I'm free to participate in any ICO I want.

Its not a problem to earn dividend in eth, you can reinvest it in REAL token if you want with no problem. A big part of the team came from Spain its true, its a nice things, cause the Spain real estate market is very huge. There is a crisis few years ago in Spain and real estate prices were very low in Spain, great to invest with a long term vision. I haven't enough fund to buy in Spain and not the experiences, that why I will be glad to be in REAL, cause they can manage that for me !

Very interesting, in the video below he mentions (@ 11:50) that we might get a look at the platform on monday or tuesday! Nice to see the project is already so far.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OPbIBqlGOaU

Yes, just a video of the platform, but still this will give a big boost before ICO. I'm glad they listened to us, because there are too many project which dont offer at least a beta platform before ICO.

Yep, also the quality of projects decreased compared to last year, plus lots of
promises n over hype!
Yeah most projects now just talk and promise something innovative, practical or smart but cant deliver the product people funded :/ its sad that so much money is lost because of false hope still i believe in real Cheesy was chosing between propy and real in estate sector and real left stronger inpresion for me i hope they can deliver and im waiting for platform preview Smiley

Expected Returns: We are targeting 12-20% annual returns

REAL will earn a 10% commission fee on all income or value appreciation profits from investments made through the platform.

My question is, is the targeted annual return of 12-20% equal to (Pv - Pc) or (Pv - Pc - fee)(1 - c)?

Because in the latter case the investors are looking at a 2 to 10% profit a year, deflationary effects excluded.
