How is going ? I am happy to see that Saturncoin passed the stage of waiting and that the dream is continuing.
First i want to give away a BIG Thank you to everybody for all the good work that they have done the last months.
Also a BIG Thank you for all the people in the world who offering there time and live to make this world a better place.
Some parts of our beautiful world are facing a lot of problems at the moment, our Saturncoin foundation supports a few of these causes. When you have some time i want to ask you to take a look at the websites of the cause that we support.
This are important causes that everybody needs to know about and has to be interested in because we need our Nature and Wildlife and we own it to our future generation to keep it in good condition.
In Tanzania the biggest elephant massacres in history is a reality. Its estimated that last year around 30.000 elephants where killed in Tanzania, they do this for there ivory teeth. These ivory teeth that they cut out of the Elephants will be used for the production of jewelery, carvings and chopsticks and in some place for medicines.
It is really hard to understand that they are killing our Elephants for carvings, chopsticks and Jewelery, it makes no sense.
There are so many beautiful goods out there that are even more beautiful than ivory. Why cant they use them to hang around there necks are to use as decoration. It becomes time we stand up against this, we cant destroy it all for goods that we never use.

In Indonesia and its surrounding country's they are cutting 200 year old trees to make soft double layered toilet paper of it. When these trees are cut down and the habitat of the people and animals has disappeared they start to dig channels and grow palm oil trees on the land. The oil they harvest from the palm trees is mainly used in our cleaning and food products. Google maps can give you a good view of how many jungle already has been taken away.
Try to be aware of what you buy because we people can make a big difference and we only have to look and be aware of what we are buying. They say that 90 percent of all living things on our earth has not been discovered yet !! We need to Keep it alive also i want to say that in my vision the owner of the world is our future generations.

Good - it's just lately there have been a lot of scams and P&Ds so was concerned.
I wish Mintpal could have just tweeted and saved me worrying - not selling my SAT now (not that I would have sold had it been bad news).

Where is the confirmation from Mintpal about SAT/BTC market staying? I have tweeted them and received no response relating to this and whilst I would love to believe the developers I DON'T - nothing personal. I say this sounds like BS until it is confirmed by Mintpal whose twitter still says that SAT is going to LTC only. Until then this just a stalling tactic by developers who are desperate or an attempt at a final pump before a huge dump. Use extreme caution.

I respect your point of view. As explained earlier on in this topic, we would have much rather published the announcement rightaway, instead of "announcing an announcement". This announcement was already planned, but in light of today's developments we simply felt the need to pre-announce the news. Ultimately this is what altcoins (and innovations) are all about.. you can't innovate by laying out a plan that's set in stone in advance, you simply adjust to and improve upon the circumstances as you go.
There will be a big announcement tomorrow, and we are very excited about finally being able to release what we've been working on. If you don't like to take our word for it then nobody's blaming you, in that case just wait and see

A quick set of instructions for creating the saturncoin.conf file and where to put it would probably be helpful. I feel too noob to do it. Although I have messed with BTC and others for 7 months, the Saturncoin wallet is the first one that I have ran (first qt wallet?). I was able to finally figure it out though. My problem was that I was just creating a text file and changing the name to "saturncoin.conf". I had to create the text file and "save as" "all files" with the name "saturncoin.conf". I had used the sample conf file from the previous saturncoin thread(the one before this one). Then I added the two addnodes that were recently given out. Then my wallet synced after being stuck on block 82046(or around there).

One of the things we are working on is to provide clearer information about things like these, as we understand that not everyone has experience with running their own wallet (and we do highly encourage everyone to "play around" with it, because learning about things like those are your first steps towards understanding how blockchain technology works, which is awesome and beneficial to anyone in crypto).
If you're on Windows, the easiest way to find the directory in which you should place this saturncoin.conf file, is:
- Go to Start
- In the search box enter %Appdata%
- Then go to the subdirectory called "Roaming"
- Then go to the subdirectory called "Saturncoin"
Your saturncoin.conf file should be in there, and if it's not there yet you should create it manually. To edit the file, you can simply open it with notepad (or any other text editor).
On Mac the procedure would be the same, except the directory is different: /Users/
And Linux: /home/

Since you have to wait until tomorrow, it must not just be an announcement about a future plan. I will expect something usable and ready right away.
