Hi yes,

sorry i edited the account activation email, but had forgotten to adapt the welcome email.  I am thinking about a web-site plus android app. The private keys are stored on the android device and the transaction signing is done with your mobile (like with armory but not offline). All the other less critical functions like calculating balance are done online. This should make the app much faster than the Worldleadcurrencyj

Being required to upload personal & privileged documents to an unknown entity pretty much goes against the whole principal of crypto & decentralization IMHO.

indeed it has shown that using the passport for verification is far to impractical, so we opened up for everyone to register until we find a better fitting solution.

it may sounds a bit extreme, but you have to consider 3 things:

1. All of the Initiatives on site i contacted are so tightly bound to their agenda they are not open for innovative ideas from outside.

2. There is always s choice to make between transparancy or security. If one wants to verify the identity of a counterpart it needs information about it. If you want the people to identify by facebookaccount or twitter it is easily cheatable. To prevent multiple accounts from the same person you need to implement complex structures. Who knows who and is this relationship trusted. Problem here are the people with no connections online. Either way you have to lay open many informations on who you know, your real name has also to be known to the public to verify that it is really you. This is maybe possible but rather something for the future or a group with more resources.

3. So it is always a balance between: how to make it as secure as possible; how to make it as usable as possible; and how could it be implemented with the resources available.

Although i am always open to new ideas. All other ideas that i know at the moment are better at one of these properties throwing both of the other over board.

But- there is a small team at freicoinalliance.com that is diving real deep into the matter. And maybe it will find a better solution. Until then a photo or scan is needed (as mentioned the data is not stored).

Another point:
It is planned to find trusted verifyer that can verify the people on site only sending the anonymus "Verification ID", so the Passport ist not needed to be scanned or digitalized.

And if it will show that this method is not working there is always the possibility to go back to the beginning and support local initiatives. The verification is just an additional option, for those who dont want to wait.

since most of the organizations that i was in contact with in the last month had mostly just a very basic knowledge of the Blockchaintechnology the WINC e. V. has created a portal where people can directly validate for a basic income in WLC.

For a start the payout is set to 1 WLC per account. This is recommended to equal to 1000 EUR so that 1 mWLC is worth 1 EUR. For anyone interested, the new portal is online at: verify.winc-ev.com.

the party for a human economy is our second sponsored Partner (I am active there too). They agreed to receive WLC for testing purposes. So hopefully in the future in cologne social projects will be funded by wlc.

Second: we are planning to create a webportal as an example for the Rhein-Sieg Kreis/Germany where people can directly get verified for a basic income and handle their payout address.

Thanks for the explanation. Maybe the problem is that Freicoin forks use RefHeight. This one need to be integrated into the block data. I fixed that for stratum P2Pool and Freicoin as parent. I could try to look into it if you think it is important, but as there is no one mining at the moment it seems better to me to put my time into contacting initiatives and creating more content for the homepage.

Its my understanding that forks of freicoin don't work with unomp pool code because of the version 3 blocks. Something about a different block template that hasn't been implemented into UNOMP's code.

Can you explain a little bit more in detail what the problem is exactly and what setup you use?
