Yepp, thats the deal. And its refinanced through the time dependend degration of coins (demurrage). So there is no inflation (only the normal crypto volatility) but circulation of money.

Sorry for asking... but does this coin work almost like a "grant system'' - meaning - honest, registered users(like myself) 
is given a certain amount
of coins each month into his/her registered wlc address (as long as they stay active)?

1. Yesterday basic income for june was payed. Everyone that is not receiving its WLC please check your WLC address in your account at verify.winc-ev.com.
2. Because we will start to delete accounts that never signed in, please consider to sign in at verify.winc-ev.com and set a WLC address.
3. I have included WLC into the coinomi wallet. A very small and fast wallet with that you can control many Altcoins at the same time. I will contact coinomi, so they include it hopefully in the standard version, so it is updated automatically. For now you can download the beta version from www.winc-ev.org/english/downloads-contact/
4. Next i will work on POS for WLC and a good blockexplorer to show transactions in real time and also calculates demurrage online.

Hi everybody i tried to create enough volume for WLC at C-Cex to keep trading alive. I accidently dumped all my hot wallet coins into oblivion, so no more pughing of trading volume.
Anyway the truth is there is no interest in this coin. And it makes no sense to just keep it up for the hope that things will change, so maybe i will contact Yobit if the interest is rising in the future.

this is exactly what i tried to do. But including POS into a coin from scratsch is very complicated. POS/POW is even more complicated. And to implement it in a running Merge Mining coin there are even more things to consider, so i am stuck with this part of the project.
I can understand that people do not like taxation. But everyone is screaming for the the state if anything need to be paied. The only real consequence is that the rich keep their money and the poor suffer. To give the people a basic income the best way imo to attract people. If it is not working, most likely the prople have not suffered enough. The problem is that most poor people do not have the possibility to lern more about Bitcoin the finacial system and altcoins in particular.
The idea to charge negative interest rates on money at the central banks is the same like demurrage but WLC has the additional advance that money is not equal to debt, so we can pay a basic income.
If people do not understand why the combination negative interest rates/basic income is powerful that there is not much that WLC can do.

hi rik. why not make the coin hybrid PoW/PoS where there is still basic income for those with zero balance? divide the block rewards among miners, PoS rewards and a central fund for basic income and other projects. im no expert but i think crypto users does not like demurrage because it is taxation. PoS will encourage users to hold wlc rather than dumping to avoid demurrage.

I asked the C-Cex support what it would cost to keep the exchange running. The cost will be at 0.72 BTC/year (0.06 BTC/month) in trading fees. That seems too much for me alone to pay for a service that only a few are actively using.
Alternatives right now are:
1. The Freicoin community is already testing a small exchange for FRC/WLC/BTC. So the idea is to spend time to get it online ASAP.
2. Not excluding the first, but if there is the need for an exchange i could pay Yobit for adding WLC.

as mentioned earlier there are some transactions not included in a block.
So i put a small bounty out for the miner that include the block.
The transactions are:
d3d6b738da12464f795c7e3159c942250fcc587e56f59a2d8a09530f04cb16c9
2aee2b1cc083387d39c6d086eceb85a4c9170e79b0559e29b7c392b192a4a3d6
I think there are more, but i think that including those two will include the others too.
I suppose 500 NXT and 5 WLC for the miner that includes the transactions.

WLC basic income is always payed at the beginning of each month. What counts is the date of setting up your WLC-Address in your account. Many users set up an account, but do not fill their WLC-Address, so i check only once the first day in each month which WLC addresses are there. And i can not pay the income for month in the past.
But of course your case was different, cause there were technical issues so i send you the WLC

the block creation is slow at the moment because the mining power increased for a short time driving the difficulty up. The difficulty will decrease at block 53248 which will last quite some time if hashpower is not increased.
