Hello World,

i have a good and two bad infos.

The bad is that c-cex.com dont want to cooperate with us in distributing the basic income.
and novaexchange had to delist WLC again because oft the low volume.

The good news is that we are cooperating with the financial autonomous zone from italy: https://domenicods.wordpress.com/faz-eng/
They have comparable aims and want to push the idea of a basic income with Freigeld.

We will rebrand the coin and give it a much more user friendly homepage with donationspage, crowdfounding and marketplace included.

there are 2 main problems with increasing the payout.

1. It is very likely that the price will drop due to increase of money supply.
There is a demand problem i think this can not be solved by increasing the supply.

2. The mining reward would shrink. As you may have observed the mining is not very constant.
Increasing the payout drops the mining reward what makes mining even more unstable.

I know that it is not encouraging but the main focus needs to be on increasing demand.

Congratulations for your coin been listed in another popular exchange however it would be nice to increase the monthly payout because 1 wlc per month is not that encouraging.

Thank you. But there are still many things to learn about Bitcoin and the community. For example i can not make an explorer for the coin. All explorers are crashing or are build for Bitcoin and have a problem with the big decimal numbers of WLC. I was thinking about having an interface that is communicating with our electrum server.

The easy answer to the missing volume is that those that have coins are not willing to sell their coins for actual prices and those that want coins are not ready to pay more than the price is.

The more complex answer is that big markets attract more traders and volume increase. Of course this could also help the popularity of the coin but somewhere it has to start. If there is the wish to put it on other exanges like lets say yobit, it is surely an option. But by now there was no explicit demand for that.

Hi, the amout of WLCs payed as a basic income will decrease when there are more participants than coins are generated through demurrage.

The amount of demurraged coins (old coins are degraded new coins are minted at the same rate) is round about 300k / month at a block generation rate of 6/hour. This means everybody becomes 1 WLC / month as long as there are under ~300k participants.

As soon as there are more than ~300k participants The number of WLC/ participant will decrease. Those that have started earlier are favored to support early adopters.

There are many things around WLC that are not too easy to explain like the voucher status, so if there are open questions feel free to ask.

Thank you for taking this challenge and continuous fight keeping it alive. Few months back this kind of things was tottaly unthinkable for me. Actually it's not only for me, but everyone where I born and living.
For me appreciation to your on going work isn't discribale. Was tried my best to learn more about WLC! But some points are still remain tough to understand for me.

Like's_ how much WLC one perticepents receive as a monthly basic income?
Is that change over time as perticepents become older!

Where I should go to learning more about WLC!
There is any way to involve WLC for contribute by laboring!

I know what you mean. But the point is that most that are interested in cryptocurrencies are not into the idea of a basic income.
And those that are interested in a basic income think using cryptocurrencies is a bad idea. The people i talked to are still trying to apply a basic income to fiat money, but this is as promissing as bringing a basic income to bitcoin.

The reason why the payout is only 1 WLC is that the currency is meant to be spreaded to every human worldwide. Keeping in mind that we are 8 bn people 1 WLC is still too much, but i used it as a good start.

The price mirrors the interest in the currency. Like Bitcoins price was less than a cent its worth was much, much higher. At the moment there just seems to be no big demand. I try my best to make it one of the top currencies but without users that actually use the currency my hands are tied.

And i do not think that the idea is not interesting in principle. The missing circulation of money was one of the main reasons for the last crisis and it will also be one of the main reasons for the next. I can only hope that the people are then not only complaining about politics but start to act.

So if you think that the idea is not usefull IMHO it is at the moment just because a lack of interest. If you have an idea how to accumulate more participants and users you are always welcome. Otherwise i can only ask you to wait for the idea to grow.

C-Cex is up for delisting WLC again. This time i would lose a lot more WLC due to lower price to reach trading volume of 6BTC.
So i will not try to keep WLC listed.

Yes you can. 

An unconditional (basic) income is per design open for everybody. The system is constructed for 300.000 participants at the moment.
Because there is the possibility to create several accounts for one person, if the coin will become mainstream at some point the idea is to cooperate with some bigger company (e.g. Kraken) to give everybody that has registred with a passport a unconditional income.

If more than 300.000 people join the network there are 3 choices:

1. Increase Max coin. - This would devaluate the currency.
2. Increase Demurrage.
3. Decrease payout.

Since the demurrage (negative interest rate) of ~20% is already high, there are 8 decimalplaces and more participants normally means more value of the system, my favorite solution is to decrease payout as there is no adjustment of the code needed.
