How to make a node

Try this one:
223.27.19.38:9560

it does not work ... only working so far is : 67.191.160.195:9560

It should work now.  I didn't have the firewall rule quite right.

Everyone with a running wallet and a direct connection to the internet is a node.  Or does it somehow work behind a NAT router?  Most computers are on a private address.
if you are behind NAT then quite likely you need to forward some ports to the machine you run your client on in order for it to be accessible from outside.
Yeah, I figured that was probably the case.  So there could be hundreds of people running the client but unless they are specifically configured as nodes (or on a direct internet IP) then they will not be nodes.  If that is true then it could explain the network issues seen by some of these new alt coins in spite of a great deal of interest from, er, "normal" people <-- don't bite my head off for that one please  Grin  It shouldn't need to rely on a lot of geeky types.

Besides even if you do that some changes to config are required

In your sexcoin.conf [or any other altcoin use "NAME OF THE ALTcoin.con"] you need to set some of the below. It is not really clear for me which of those options are required for running as a full node to which others might connect
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
here you obviously set max number of connections
maxconnections=25

I know how to make such a node, but I hope for someone else to step up as my network recourses are already committed to number of other services not even related to the bitcoin / altbitcoin stuff Sad

just noticed another one

addnode=113.162.145.245

PS In the evening I start a new thread to gather nodes and their default respective ports from different networks in one place. I have wallet in about 30 different currencies (most likely some of them already not possible to connect to) so it should be good starting point

only node working so far is
67.191.160.195:9560
I wonder if guys with non static ips can contribute by throwing some dydnds or noip address. I never seen anyone post such an address...

Every wallet looks around for nodes all the time no need to have static ip ... just everybody let wallet running ... and post here any new node

If it helps spread the love for sexcoin the adult industry has been discussing Bitcoin as you have probably already read.
http://www.xbiz.com/news/161663
http://www.dailydot.com/business/porn-industry-xbiz-bitcoin-wicked-pictures/
As someone involved in that industry I definitely see Bitcoin or some form of digital currency making porn buyers that much more anonymous a huge HUGE plus for those wanting secrecy. Which of course they all do right? Personally though I don't see sexcoin really taking off only because of the name. Most buyers of porn want the term sex to stay as far away from their credit cardbank statements and even though sexcoin may show up as something else it would probably scare alot of buyers off. I do see big companies maybe in the future having a coin of their own where maybe you can trade your BTC for their coin to get more videos/minutes out of your $$$. But hey I am all for any coin that supports the adult industry so carry on soldiers!
