Fighting mob law and inquisition in this forum
Hello,

I'm having a strange issue when mining with sgminer against suprnova - DECRED pool.
The miner shows he does something but nothing come back to the pool.

It shows the processing power and some  numbers running in the top line but don't know what they mean.. (NB,ST, NB, LW) what does it mean?

It generates the bin file for DECRED and the GTX1080 somehow he don't create the debuglog as i want..The settings work with ccminer very well and ending up in the pool

Whats wrong? Any advice

sorry, no.
I myself tried a bit of optimisation but could only gain about 1%.
Thnx for the information, I'm just diving in the world of mining and It's really complicated to find info for my rig which is worth reading.  Wink

yeah I know.
most of the info you can find in the ccminer threads, plus the pools' you will be using.

Hi guys, can s/o tell, how much this miner can get on LBRY coin with GTX1070? Thnx in advance.

Surely much less than ccminer.

pallas, do you know some trusted miner that do more than ccminer for Nvidia GPUs?

It's better mine on a pool Ethereum or use Nicehash ?

What king of coin I have to mine with 2 GPU HD7970 in order to have maximum profittability ?

thx

you can go to: https://www.nicehash.com/index.jsp to see the most profitable to mine. It is Ethereum at the moment.
it seem like a lot of people are mining decred...so must be profitable too...or holds tons of promise....does that algo run at higher temps?

it's pure gpu, no ram usage, so lower than scrypt and higher that some random access memory algos.
but since miners tune their rigs based on efficiency, it shouldn't be important for you, unless you have cooling issues: in that case just undervolt a bit.

Is there a version of sgminer that has the same increase in hashrate for certain algorithms as the latest NiceHashMiner ?

Are a new .Bin & .bat layout in order or is this an exclusive NiceHash thing for their profit switching miner ?

12MH/s on a AMD 280x with X11 is quite good compared to the 8MH/s with Wolf0 optimized .bins Shocked

Radeon 270 1000/1400

neoscrypt 0.239 MH
lyra2v2  7.8 MH

Wild guess - 480 will be 1.8-2x faster

how well amd card perform on lyra2v2 and neoscypt? i want to know if the upcoming 480 are really worth to get for other top algo other than ethereum

We included an optimized sgminer in the v1.5.0.0 NiceHash Miner release (https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner/releases) ... AMD is still quite strong on all algos with this optimized version.

Best regards,
NiceHash team.

yes i know, but i do not have amd right now, i just want to know about their hashrate on those two algo? i need info to decide to go with amd or nvidia with the new upcoming gpu
