AFAIK, yes. Unless you want to reverse-engineer it.

the optimised binaries are not compatible with the opensource sgminer code.
it's not linux, it's just that you need the host source code.

ah ok thx, im sure ill figure it out this week when i get a free minute
need to learn to add algos anyways and i bet ill learn a ton of other fun things on that path

can i make a multi algo password containing diff like this

M1,d=1,decred=7100,d=0,neoscrypt=0,d=0.072,x11=30.4,d=0.072,x13=22.6,d=0.096,x15=18,d=15.00,qubit=25,d=0,quark=0",

or do I have to put the d=*** into each profile thus having a different password for every algo profile
