What kernel is scrypt-N  supposed to use ?

cheers

The same as Scrypt (ckolivas, zuikkis, etc.), just set "nfactor" : "11"

{
   "name" : "NiceHash_Scrypt-N",
   "url" : "stratum+tcp://stratum.nicehash.com:3335",
   "algorithm" : "zuikkis",
   "nfactor" : "11",
   ...
},

btw: there seems to be a Scrypt-N "rush hour" at NiceHash currently Wink

thanks
thats what i'm trying to get at but getting loads of HW errors

14.x drivers are shit for scrypt especially n-scrypt.  Don't waste the electricity.

It was only the wind.
I'm using 14.9 - I think it has the OpenCL 2.0 beta, I should try that shit.

I know; it's too easy, almost. Not really worth it to take for me.

You heard the Wolf (full moon is tomorrow Wink ) ... easy money: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/easy-programming-job-neoscrypt-algorithm-validator-done-848256

We need testers for NiceHash NeoScrypt. If you would like to participate, send me PM. It will only take 1 min of your time (you connect to certain IP:port and send few shares and then report back via PM what were the share diffs you saw in sgminer).

How long until this algorithm gets implemented on nicehash?  Trademybit already has it being launched to multiport within the next 24 hours.

NiceHash looks like they're having trouble finding a dev - they PM me, I refused the job; now I see them on the FTC forums.

Yes, we are still looking. Come on, it is not so hard. All you need to know are what are the changes regarding to scrypt or other algos and then adjust this. Everything else is just copy paste (algorithm).

I'm able to mine with the kernel you provided wolf, but I get HW errors on my 7950 running at its stock speeds and I-15 TC- 8192 and W-64

Any tips? I am on 14.9 btw.

try not specifying TC. How many GPU threads? Also, intensity is a little high.

I've lowered to I- 12, TC automatically set to 4096, g- 1 and W-256 and I'm getting 103 kh/s, but my WU is only 5.5/m(is this proper?)

No HW errors with the above at stock speeds.

I'm with 14.6 driver and 7950  with this parameters -I 17 --worksize 48 -g 2 --thread-concurrency 8193 --gpu-engine 1040 --gpu-memclock 1500 and the result is 149 kh/s .

I'm actually just testing to see if the kernel works nicely since I have my actual mining rig set up away from home- I wanted to try get all the software kinks out before I try load up a workable setting on my 280x's and one 7990. For instance, never knew I-15 was high for neoscrypt since -18 for x11 is fine.

yeah no wonder i tried I 17-18 i only get up to 15...

14.9 works well for video related things but not so much for this miner software.  Cool

Odd that 14.9 doesn't affect me; I wonder what exactly changed.

So this is a thread about sgminer5 the multi-algo miner; does sgminer5 now include neoscrypt algo as an option?

Yes.

This miner you released is unusable for certain algorithms; it throws a lot of hardware errors for keccak as opposed to others (badman's) which do not throw even 1.

SG5 for neoscrypt is out; I've compiled it. This is a zip of my kernel, slighly modified for SGMiner, as well as all the other kernels included on the github's develop branch, and a Win64 binary. Static compile, no DLLs, just like my standard SGMiner builds on Litecointalk. Also GPG signed, like my standard builds:

https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/neoscrypt/sgminer5-neoscrypt-11-02-2014.zip

And of course, GPG sigs for those that check them (you should be): https://ottrbutt.com/sgminer/neoscrypt/sgminer5-neoscrypt-11-02-2014.zip.sig

Nice one Wolf0
                      will this work Solo mining ?
