%80 is the asic quality of the chip given by gpu-z anyways i will stick with stock voltages and 1020 core .I lost the silicon lottery on this
Actually all of us GPU miners pretty much got fucked.

one of my 290 trix oc (%80.5 asics) is not even stable @1020 core where others stable @1075/1400 (%78-%79)core using badmans config for 290s.Should i rma this card?

TRI-X BIOS's are pretty picky; I have 3x TRI-X OC 290X and they only run the best at stock OC 1040/1300 they can go higher but get constantly SICK
do you think my sick card is ok?
I found that my mem clock was more finicky than my engine clock... try lowering your mem clock and see if that helps

i tried 1050/1300 -1040/1300 still same should i lower the mem more?
Hmm odd... It sounds like that card might be undervolted
Was it a new card?
Maybe check to make sure it is running at the same volt as the other cards with MSI afterburner

i think vddc is the card voltage. As i checked from gpuz : %78 asics max 1.164 ,%79 gets max 1.141 and %80 max 1.117 all 1000 core and 1300 mem

not quite sure what you mean by %80 asics but maybe try using afrerburner to increase vddc by +25

@badman74 which branch in your github repo should I be compiling to get your latest performance mods?
Develop branch but currently x15 is broken.... to fix it get whirlpool.cl from an older version or from the official repo this should fix everything but whirlcoin

Changing hamsi-expand-big from 1 to 7 increased the hashrate by 80Kh... on both machines.  Tongue

Now the funny thing is this only appears to happen on X13/marucoin-mod.
On X15 I can get a healthy 2-300 Kh more on the windows box by overclocking.
I'll have to try this on mine. I could use an 80K boost.

No, I do not intend to either, really.
However it's still strange this performance boost on the Pimp version seems to affect X13 more than the other algos.
14.6 Works like a charm for me; but then again i don't intend to try 14.7 either.  Wink
Also my card went SICK/DEAD within 5 hours. Previously using the same settings it would go for days without a glitch. Something's gotta be fishy with the latest Windows binaries...

Using the latest Pimp 1.5.6, 14.6 cats.
On Windows I'm on the 14.7 RC2.

Edit: ok I found the bin... but I don't think I can copy it onto my windows box as I haven't set up the Pimp miner to be accessed over the lan... Or rather I need to install Winscp again  Tongue
Edit2: alright did all the above but it hardly goes any faster...  Undecided
Have you tried 14.6 on your windows rig?

At same clock speeds and same settings the speed difference is 200KH/s.
(using 1125/1500 on all my Asus R9 280X for testing purposes. The ones in Pimp do 3500Kh, the one in the windows pc does 3300) Huh

Try copying the .dat .bin file from your pimp machine over the one on your windows machine and try again.
Because of the different OS, catalyst is slightly different and apparently does different compiles on the .bin files.

EDIT: changed .dat to .bin Wink
