Negotiations with web dev moving extremely slow, dead line on discussions is set, and will seek other web devs if we do not get a commitment on or before the 27th.

Things do need to get moving a little faster, we agree. Have been in meetings last 2 weeks, we have went over the following features. 2 facto auth, centralized and decentralized, Multi Sig Escrow, using multi-wallet, decentralized exchange/ multiwallet. A few of these features are now showing up in other coins. We are reaching out to a few other coin devs about integrating features into SHLD.

Many discussions about investors room, some of you might have noticed SHLD now holds an invite only area on the freenode servers, in channel ##SHIELD, currently the channel #shieldcoin is registered to the old devs, and attempts to regain control of it continue. The new main public channel will be #SHLDCOIN (currently not in use but registered )

Been in a few conversations with other devs about getting some direct help with adding their features to SHLD coin. (mentioned above)
Right now SHLD's budget is 0.000000, however; we do hold a few SHLD to cover bounties etc. BTW, bounties are killing us, but without something nothing would get done at all. The main programmer has not been bothered, and been put on hold until the web development is done.

He is on his toes, this guy is ready and working with me when I need help with anything related to program devs. He doesn't have much to do as we await word from the web dev before enabling more power to the programmers.

mac wallet released today, looks like I can not test it, 10.4.11 OX will not work, I need 10.5, and for that matter, intel based mac, so I might be in even more trouble for testing mac releases.

Dev, I think we should try to get into BTC38 and / or BTER. they have the china market. and the volume of transactions using huge CNY. potential for shieldcoin

Sorry to hear that, and sorry you feel that way, a year from now we can go back to this post where you knew you could buy a shield 2 cents, and didn't have to be forced to trade 4.00 to 5.00 on the trex site as a minimum purchase.
Shield has a design and a plan for the future, this is just my 2 cents...

it's also been mentioned in POD, and a few times over the forum, if we need to have something done fast, we are looking to network with other coin devs. (this isn't a bad thing), and networking takes time. relationships take time to build, and foundation for SHLD is being worked on. If you look over the first release of shield, there are many questionable matters, mainly, why the last logo design, had 80+ submissions by the same person, is one question that rises.
Informed also today there is possibility of a few whales still holding many shields, however; I have been in study on the block chain for the last month, and as far as I can tell, 5 people own 50% of the shield coins, this also can be holdings in exchanges.
Trading has been enabled on cryptsy, if you strongly believe nothing is going on with this coin, then you are not following the different stages to relaunching the coin.
This was clearly said before, the coin is working, distribution is good at best, and we have no bugs, no security problems, and no reason to attempt to fluff the coin with features that are rich over the entire crypto communities. When something is brought to the table, if it's the same feature as another coin, it will have no big impact on SHLD or it's price. If you want a strong future investment, grow with shield, the chances of prices crashing to the bottom now that we are already on the bottom is slight to remote. Bittrex removing shield was a blessing, as no trading could be done there. Bittrex is ignoring the fact that not everyone can make 500k sat trades, trex is a high roller trading site, and will be the death of it, as the wolves remove more and more new people by the pump and dumps being orchestrated, people will soon figure out their pennies are far better spent on a trading site with a long reputation. Thank you for the overwhelming support. The team at SHIELD feels the same way about Bittrex, it's little to no effect towards the progress in coin development. Trading at cryptsy is better, there is no 500k sat barrier for trading. SHLD is extremely undervalued at this time. Cryptsy trading will allow smaller traders to obtain SHLD. There is many complaints about Bittrex min trade of 500k sats, many small traders can't trade there. Perhaps Bittrex will soon change, but not very likely.
