Why would we want to follow another shitty pump group?
Sia Coin does not require any pump group as it is not a pump dump coin. Sia team has been working good these days and they have also collected a lot of funds. I wonder if they be listing on Binance soon.
So Sia is becoming serious competition to Dropbox and Google drive? The concept is similar like theirs just you get paid in coins. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Sia platform makes it possible to use blockchain possibilities in a physically distributed data warehouse which is spread over different nodes. But I would view it not as competitor but a good complement of available cloud storages ( such as OneDrive, Google drive, DropBox etc.)

the protocol won't change ..sia-tech folk said nope...as to the Bitmain Miner....they MAY have the 2nd version out...but with these prices etc ..I doubt they would
release it...then again who knows...I'd not be surprised if a 2nd gen bitmain siacoin miner came out before the first obelisk sc-1's ship

Yes, the crazy run in December and January did a lot of damage, because many new investors came in to late and they got burned.
Now new investors don't wan't to invest and with some "old guard" selling coins to buy something, the price is going up and down

Several months ago, Sia team decided to change its difficulty adjustment algorithm to deal with upcoming exponential rises of Sia difficulty due to Obelisk delivery.
well..that is something....they may have to do the same with the innsilicon and bitmain units..the bitmain units were in batches as high as 50,000 (not sure what I heard)..if so .yeah...adjustments indeed...
regardless, no way the obelisk's I have coming need to be taken out of the box it seems.....even the above tweaks are likely not enough..live an learn

SIA is like the little engine that could. Many projects/developers come and go, but SIA has been consistently developed for years and is showing excellent long-term growth. Those who HODL will be greatly benefited over the long term.
Yes SIA has a great potential. Development is going on and that't the great thing. Developers make the project successful. And here developers are actively doing great.
I have a good investment in it. And that's good investment till now and future is great.

Probably because most cryptocurrencies are having a hard time nowadays. When in a down trend, positive developments do not necessarily have much of an effect, unless it's about something that can be perceived as a breakthrough of some kind. Give time to the market to recover in general, to the hashrate to grow and to more features to get implemented. In my opinion, growth of the price of SiaCoin regardless of the whole crypto market isn't realistic.
Adding to what he said, remember that the best time to buy and accumulate is during a down trend. It may not be fun to watch your investments decline, but times like these are best to prep for the future bullrun (assuming there will be one).
