burning coins  47% (29 april 2018) of the circulation supply.

15 may Siacoin will be listed at Binance.


Is this true ? or is this Fomo  i hope its true that will increase the value of Siacoin.

Pricepredictions are welcome for 2018 let me know.

Poloniex has had problems with SiaCoin since at least last December.  Don't leave SiaCoins on Poloniex.  They take weeks to respond to inquiries.

The diff was extremely risen in the last 3 weeks. i dont wonder if 50% off all miners goes down in the next month.

Its true, but nothing prevents enterprise to build on top of SIA and make it user friendly for end user

Hey guys. I was researching your coin and I heard this interesting take – Sia caters to enterprise and not retail, is it true? Was that your original idea, if that is indeed the case? Any community members what to share their opinion on whether or not Sia is suitable for retail?

I've never had a problem with Poloniex. But I have noticed they have had issues with wallets. But sense I was just holding I didn't think to move it. I had never seen it actually say "Frozen" that kind of made me nervous. So with that being said I will take your advise and move it to my Bittrex account. Once it is freed up. Agreed 6 weeks its been since the acquisition of Poloniex by Circle and nothing has been improved.

You are holding the coin on the wrong exchange.
We all know that poloniex is problematic with the wallet (deposit/withdrawal) but you are still not aware.

Siacoin is now more concentrated in Bittrex because the volume is larger. The big players also moved to Bittrex. Leave that rotten exchange and move your balance.

They had sync problem with blockchain at the moment, i guess it will be OK by evening Pacific time or may be tomorrow.

I wonder whether web wallets are safe for users, investors, traders to use in such extremely risky environment like crypto ecosystem.
I usually store my coins in computer wallets, not web or online wallets because I think those one are more risky, under high risks of potential attacks from greedy hackers, who always try to stole as many coins as possible.

Does anyone know why Siacoin is "Frozen" on Poloniex? I'm not looking to sell, I'm holding for a long time but I just noticed it was frozen you can't sell or buy it. Normally if wallet was down you still would be able to sell it. And it would tell you the wallet was down. This is strange.

However, you don't need to worry about the missing transaction. If you search that transaction id in blockchain explorer ( https://explore.sia.tech or https://explorer.siahub.info ), you will most likely see it's there. That means that your transaction is in your wallet in blockchain but Sia-UI was blind to this transaction due to bug in past version. Version 1.3.2 should fix it, but if it already happened, you need to fix it manually.

To do so, you need to reload wallet from your seed and let it rescan the blockchain for your transactions. Proceed further only if you have your seed ready.

Go into the terminal and write: wallet init-seed --force
Once asked, enter your seed and then wait for rescanning to finish.
After that you should see correct balance and all your transactions.

Yes, sometimes the wallet might become "blind" for a transaction, it is a known bug. If that thing happens again, do exactly what you have done today: delete your wallet folder and use your recovery seed to force Sia to re-scan the blockchain


Be aware that most of the "web wallets" for Sia out there are just scams that will steal whichever funds you send there. We had in the past months dozens of cases of users scammed. Do not trust any web wallet, only the official Sia-UI that can be downloaded from the official Sia website: https://sia.tech/get-started
