Does anyone know, years ago siacoin dropped the weakest price Huh
I just want to know because as I will be waiting for her there and buy it as much  Wink

Keep holding shit coins or accumulating it.
When golem is not able to get the traction how can you believe on sia? Golem has as much funds as to make 5 sia projects.

I will collect as much as possible siacoin. And if the price to 50 sat is an opportunity for me to buy it.
Because if the altcoin trend up siakoin will also rise. Minimum 8x fold.  Wink

What happens to Sia price? Now it's worth as much as in June  Cry

Perhaps crytpo is not for you, if you can't handle the dips, as there are many. Lots of crypto FUD today and many coins down 15% today like SIA. Expect a big bounce in a few days or weeks, maybe hours.

50 satoshi ...maybe like doge 40ish? :-D weeee

the complexity of mining coins should increase. But because of this there will be a failure of the miners Obelisk. that's why the coin falls. one of the main reasons for the fall of the coin.

The price will just keep dropping, believe it or not. the reason is because there is so much offer of coins (millions of coins every day). So you can guess easily the price where it will go.  Angry

But theres also billions (not millions)  satoshis mined every day, is that reason satoshis are losing value?

One factor in my decision to sell was the fact that Sia issued Siafunds, which are indivisible, and very expensive - $10-15K each! Owners of Siafunds get a cut of the profits of the storage suppliers (a reward for the risk of owning them, we're told), and the suppliers get - and I quote from the white paper - a "brutal free market" (potentially no reward!). Also, Siacoin was not intended to be used as a speculative investment. The whole thing feels like Sia are doing this for themselves and their wealthy mates, and the rest of us can just go to hell. And, with the price plummeting so fast now, maybe Hell will be the next stop.  Kiss

One small note: SiaFunds are not being "issued". All the 10.000 SiaFunds were originated on the genesis of the blockchain, 3 years ago. About 1200 were sold originally to investors to fundraise the project, and the remaining 8800 were held by Nebulous Inc. as an incentive to align the interests of the developing team with the growth of the network (SF dividends depend on the usage of the storage network).

No new SiaFunds are being issued this time: it is simply Nebulous Inc. (core developers) selling 750SF of their stack of 8800 to increase the funding of the team. This will be very positive for the whole Sia sphere, as with those funds they'll be able to pay more developers to push ahead the roadmap and pay other stuff like marketing campaigns once the network is production-ready.

Moreover, the beauty of SiaFunds is that the investors buying them become contributors/partners: They'll only get dividends if they help pushing the adoption of the storage network, so these investors will really promote the long-term organic growth of Sia and not short-term pump schemes like traditional "investors" of coins.

ShitFunds ... i call bullshit :-D  ~ this is not going to end well imo*

It was one of first coins I bought after entering crypto, but theyre now facing some serious competition:

https://clearfoundation.co.nz/

how many tokens?

If you clicked link you'd see that it says "102.4B Total Supply"

It looks like they already sold 7 billion

ANY coin/share/token that has BILLIONS in supply(see fed reserve) is simply scamming...keep it real :\ NO ONE NEEDS BILLIONS OF COINS LOLOLOLOL

You do realize there are BILLIONS or people in the world, right?  ...and BILLIONS of people are Facebook?  What do you want, each person to be able to hold less than one coin?

Leave the Russian guy alone, babies! Angry He was just letting off steam. He wasn't rude to anyone, and he didn't insult anyone - in fact, he apologized for not having perfect English. We can't all be multi-millionaires betting on cryptos for a hobby.

And don't attack Russia unless you're also going to attack the U.S., which overthrows democratically-elected governments, installs dictators into power (General Suharto of Indonesia and Augusto Pinochet of Chile being just two), orchestrates coups, arms Saudi Arabia - an Islamic fundamentalist dictatorship, and the number one sponsor of terrorism in the Middle East - head-choppers like ISIS! - and much more besides. The U.S. is directly and indirectly responsible for well over 10 million deaths over the recent decades.

I sold my relatively tiny amount of Siacoin and moved into Waves a few weeks back. Sia has fallen in value against Waves. I would have lost a third more of my money had I kept it in Sia.

On a serious note, if I could have spared the money, I would have held, but with much lower expectations than when I came in.

Many thanks for your understanding. I lost a lot of money in the past two months. it's all I had. so I'm worried about the fate of this coin.

Basically you are correct but not word by word.
More coins means you can easily hike the market capitalization. That's what ripple is doing now.
If ripple was to be used in banks for inter bank microtransaction the they should always be cheap else no use of sending large amount.
You cant have two swords in one sheath
