How great would it be if it were the Devs here on the forum explaining their value proposition and building trust instead of just their hype men who are waiting to turn a quick buck on the exchanges. This was a great concept, a real flashy website, and a super shady launch. Iconomi has a much better value prop, much better community involvement, 200+ pages of pre-sale community hype, and they needed a month to raise 10.5 million USD for tokens that promise to pay dividends. Here's Singular with no Dev involvement on the forum, 30+ pages of "hype", a rushed launch date and a market valuation approaching 10-20 million in the 1st day. Hate to be the bearer of bad news (I lie I enjoy it) but this is looking shady as hell and I could certainly be wrong, but I ain't touching this until the price stabilizes and I see some proof this project will actually go somewhere. Sometimes people need FUD.

This is ETH token and ETH crowdsale, so why would dev spend much time on a bitcoin forum. Doubt it is their priority, there are other places to contact devs, try email, telegram, slack...they answer quite quickly

Iconomi is an ETH token and its pretty clear Bitcointalk.org has a substantial Altcoin discussion section, was there a big reddit AMA with the Devs I missed? (totally possible, I didn't really look). I'm not the guy to ask the technical questions anyhow, but I certainly want to see that they're being asked and that they're done so openly and honestly. At this point I just see red flags and I will FUD this shit up all day until I see some honest justifications for a 15 minute flash sale, monstrous valuations, and less than direct and public communications from the Devs. So, good luck trading, if you're looking to make long term purchases of SNGLs from the exchanges you can thank me for help with the price ;-)
Maybe a bit more research and less speculation. You talk about BC applications that can disrupt an industry, SDTV is positioned to attract significant revenue streams in the 2019 timeframe.

No no no dude, What YOU are doing is speculation, fantasizing about how disruptive this company might be is speculation, attributing a market valuation in the 10s of millions of USD to a fancy website and a few people with what sounds like a good idea is speculation. What I'm doing is being skeptical and asking questions. For example if these people are in tight with Johnny Depp, Alicia Silverstone et al as some of the photos in this thread would have you believe then why do they need our money? And if they don't need our money, why are we giving it to them? Could there have been some sort of collusion between the short notice for a bumped up launch date and the immediate doubling/tripling of the tokens price when it hit the exchange on the same day? Why did the dev's bump the launch with little more than 24 hours notice only to leave all that money on the table? There is fishy stuff going on here and fair market valuation is reached when all the fantasy of disruptive speculation meets the reality of FUD.

Lemme guess you are the fat fingered whale now trying to fud the price to get back in at sub 79 sat?  Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

That is a good question. Why did this coin sell out in 15 minutes. Over 7 million dollars. I'm mostly curious.

Could someone explain to me why have a decentralized netflix? what are the benefits over netflix? I don't get it.

EXCELLENT QUESTION.

 Grin

For example if you want to make a serial or even have one but you don't want to pay millions for a TV channel or netflix to run/host your content, if you want 90%+ of your serials/movie revenue instead of the network just taking 50% or more. Probably a bad example but for example camgirls, lots of girls do that for money, but they only get 10-20% of the money, the rest goes to the site owners who host them. Similar thing with TV media entertainment/news.

So what your saying is that there's a benefit for film producers, they will be able to gain more profit.

What does that do for the end user like me, why would I use it? I like netflix they have a decent line up of films and TV programmes, I also use Kodi with the pulse community build (which is way better than netflix). I am yet to see any benefit as to why I would use this service. Again, someone tell me why would I use this over netflix or Kodi?

On this platform you would pay directly the content creator, instead of paying netflix that takes its own comision/fees so creating content would become cheaper, that is good for the end users because any idea can be made into a movie/serial, not just those that have huge piles of money but if you are the type that enjoys flashy, high action, high CGI movies, then I guess no benefit except the feeling that the creators wasn't robbed of their own fairly earned money.

come on guys. dont you think its a possibility that someone sold to themselves to crash the market and make everything look like shit..

No it wasn't a self dump, I had orders fill around 200 satoshis. Thanks to the whale for that, it was an easy 10x. The only realistic thing is that the free coins (self bought ICO) were dumped on the exchange. It's a scam coin. It's sad to see Bittrex add another scam...

Yes, its the only realistic thing, there is no way in hell the guy who dumped thought he is going to sell all his coins at 2x ICO price. NO WAY! obvious scam is obvious..

A few hundred thousand at least were dumped around 200-79 sats. So no, that is definitely not 2x ICO price. It's the dev dumping free, self-bought, ICO coins.

I hope it was the dev. Can't imagine losing thousands of dollars worth of coins.

Is it seriously just me who can understand this ? For real ?
A noob buys into the ICO has no idea about how crypto/exchanges work. He sees the exchange LAST price, which was about 4700sat, that is almost 2x ICO price, he decides 2x insta profit is sweet, he hits sell all. Is it hard to understand this or....wtf?? There could have been multiple noobs who did the same thing. Devs would never dump like this, they are not retarded.

No I do not believe devs dumped it, because that just doesn't make sense. I do believe someone made a huge mistake. Since that person must feel beyond terrible losing all that money, I commented that I do hope it was a dev and not some poor sob.

There was more than one million+ SNGLS  transactions: http://i.imgur.com/nPn7rcQ.png

See, it would make sense to assume it was an accident if there wasn't multiple occurrences....If you just lost 10's of thousands of dollars by accident, wouldn't you read the review prompt before doing it several more times?  Along with the numbers and balances, it states, "Disclaimer.  Please verify this order before confirming. All orders are final once submitted and we will be unable to issue you a refund."

I think it was an initial investor....not a developer, founder, or ICO purchaser....It was probably just one of those who initially invested who received part of the 10% who wanted out early....He probably didn't lose a dime.  I believe it was a huge mistake but no accident.

does not make sense for dev to dump down to 79 sat when he can do a slow release over several days or weeks even if it was his intention to dump. Why would he be so dumb?
