Look what i found.

http://dev.openex.pw/index.php?page=trade&market=49

Small how-to for gpu miner
Download python27 x86 (I tried with x64 and with 33, but it did not work)
Download mako ,numpy, pyopencl, pytools and ipython. from www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/
Download MinGW and build skeinhash.so like:
Code:
gcc -fPIC -shared -o skeinhash.so *.c
Create a bat and point it to your poclbm location.
example.
Code:

C:\python27\python.exe C:\skein\poclbm-skc\poclbm.py http://[username.worker]:[password]@skc.coinmine.pl:6400

Reorder’s GPU miner has been posted to github at https://github.com/snoopcode/poclbm-skc

Props to reorder for making it work, and then contributing back to the community.

I suggest that reorder is awarded the bounty for the first working, open-source GPU miner for Skeincoin.

I’ve done some minor clean-up and plan to make more tweaks.  Feel free to fork the repo and help with improvements.

If you’re a fan of Skeincoin, please let Cryptsy know at https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/45090/

Thanks,

Doug

Well done and thanks!

Reorder, please post your BTC and SKC address for the bounty.

Check -s 0.0001 -f 10 (strange but on gtx it is better than only -f 1)

I got a lot of rejected on coinmine today...
use this
 if(sha256_res(as_uint16(skein512_mid_impl(state, msg))) & 0xf0ffffff /* & 0xc0ffffff */)

I pm'ed reorder asking about the gpu miner. His response was:

"....snoopdoug has volunteered to clean up the miner and publish it later.... If you wish, I can give you a copy of my miner at a promise to not distribute in its current state."

I got the source from reorder, and I have to agree, clean up and optimization are necessary before release, but it works (a little). Hoping to see a gpu miner release soon.

Many thanks to reorder for sharing the code, and showing how far along it is.

(As far as hashrate goes. the version i got from reorder is doing about 40 MH/s on a 5770, so 4x-5x time as high as an overclocked [email protected], also this proves that there are no gpu miners being held hostage. reorder was testing diff adjustment if I understand the code correctly so that would explain the huge increase from the other day)

40 MHz sounds pretty low for 5770, have you tried with '-f 1' switch? Anyway, I do not do bitcoin-style binary patching for BFI_INT, chances are it could help in your case (if the card has this instruction and compiler does not generate it for bitselect by default).

Yeah bounty for reorder. Nice job done by reorder.

Also do ppl need a guide to make it work or is everyone tech savvy enough ? I'm willing to write a guide if needed.

Also working with a friend to get it to work as py2exe, because executables are easy, but having serious trouble with the include of numpy and pyopencl while building.

If you are unwilling to wait, you can probably ask reorder for the source, but most of it is allready here in this topic. He has never been greedy about it, but he will not provide support because it's simply not ready and snoopdoug is apparently working on it. But it's far from point and click.

also, I hold no claim over the code, so it is not up to me release it.

(with python2.7 x86 , mako ,numpy, pyopencl, pytools and ipython. from www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/ and poclbm source and the posts made by reorder you actually have all you need.)

(edit: back at cpu speeds, seems not to run properly long term)

Please release ASAP, as you are getting 6K SKC / day because of holding it. This is not fair to others with GPUs and those CPU mining.

I'm using the x64 variant without any problems on Win7 x64 WinXP x64 Win8 X64 and Win8.1x64. I think the problem is on your end.

Also you can compile the x86 from git.

Can we get a 32 bit windows miner as well? i have another comp being wasted and would like to use it to mine this coin.

no windows cd so cant switch myself Sad
And also a win8 miner plz
Doesn't even work with compatibility. Does the code explicitly say win8 is incompatible?
