I just noticed bter is back up (I dont have any funds on there) is everyone's balance showing up?

https://twitter.com/btercom

"We are preparing for the withdrawals. CNY, USD and NXT withdrawals will be handled first."

looks like they are not trying to screw people...

BTC is showing up, none of my altcoin balances are available yet. Looks like they actually will be coming back though just based on BTC being there.

It seems i was the first to trade, sadly it was a sell @ 2500 sat,
Thank you for selling! I'm just in vacation and will start buying more next week.  Grin

Then better hope for bter enabling SLM withdrawals, because I assume that a decent amount of SLM is being hold in bter's SLM wallets as bter was for a long time the only exchange trading SLM.
If you want to try and guess which addresses might belong to bter, have a look here:
https://bchain.info/SLM/rich/

As the total (net) supply is currently only 2,817,894 it might be hard to accumulate big amounts of SLM these days  - especially not now that Slimcoin doesn't look that dead any more Wink

We need an electrum server for slimcoin to get android  and  other light wallets running. I'm starting to learn python , but I'm usually very busy at work and at home.

It seems i was the first to trade, sadly it was a sell @ 2500 sat, hopefully not before a pump up to 10K sat lol

If you wouldn't have wanted to fill the buy order at 2500 Satoshis, you shouldn't have done it Wink
But it's good to see that finally SLM deposits arrive at c-cex.com and are traded!

SLM block chain on c-cex.com is synced.
Happy trading!

Good to see

Bter might be comming back if people don't panic, now only CNY, USD and NXT to withdraw or trade..

The link to the 0.4.0 version on slimcoin.club leads to Graham's repository: https://github.com/gjhiggins/SLIMCoin/releases/download/SLMv0.4.0-alpha/slimcoin-qt.7z

It's good to find a more recent snapshot of the SLM block chain on http://www.slimcoin.club/ (direct link)

btw - SLM block chain on c-cex has started to catch up:
https://c-cex.com/?p=slm-btc
Block 26569 atm and rising!

it is block 40124 now, my wallet shows block 247585, so they have 200000 more to go..

What is Slimcoin 0.4? gjhiggins' version? I see it on slimcoin.club, but what codebase uses it? The kryptoslab github repo is still unchanged.

Sad to see SLM on maintainance all the time on c-cex Sad

Looks like they have the wrong block height and are probably out of sync or still syncing with the network.

They might be running Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha with the old daemon and therefore having trouble syncing. Could you let them know they need to downgrade their Slimcoin wallet !

Yep. Back in sync. on both my nodes.

Run Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 from Slimcoin.club

Download and copy the 236000 Blockchain Snapshot into your > AppData > Roaming > SLIMCoin (folder).

Delete the addr.dat

slimcoin.conf:

listen=0
addnode=37.187.100.75
addnode=5.9.81.9
addnode=188.16.203.240
addnode=192.3.21.71
addnode=85.152.4.141
addnode=108.61.197.252
reservebalance=100000

If you get stuck downloading the blockchain for more than 15 mins. then close the client, delete addr.dat again and restart, repeat this until your block height matches: https://bchain.info/SLM/

Welcome to Slimcoin ! @CryptoHobo   Grin   Cool

EDIT: If you have a wallet with a current balance and/or Effective Burnt Coins I would advise making a back-up of the wallet and syncing the client with a fresh 0 balance wallet.dat - then restarting the client replacing your main wallet and doing a --rescan on first start-up.

Cheers!

thanks, sync'd fine with new conf on 0.3.2.1
when redownloading a blockchain i rename it ~wallet.dat and let a new one be created for syncing the replace and rescan, always have backups on usb just incase Wink

thanks

Looks like we are partly Sporked and the network is 'out of sync.' again (with lots of new client wallets on catch-up).

Probably a mismatch between folks running Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 or Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha (which we don't know is fully stable yet).

Bchain.info and Slimcoin.club Block Explorers are running at the same (correct) block height.

I had also switched to Slimcoin-Qt 0.4.0-alpha and both my VPS and main node went out of sync.

I'm going to clear my Slimcoin directory and try syncing from the 236000 Snapshot from Slimcoin.club - going back to running Slimcoin-Qt 0.3.2.1 which we know is stable.

thought this coin were dead  Sad Huh saw it on ccex and thought woot wheres my wallet but i can't  get it to sync

downloaded wallet and chain snapshot from  http://slimcoin.club deleted contents of slimcoin directory (backed up wallet.dat) extract the snapshot and run the wallet, it gets stuck at block 237547. I've tried 4 times in the past 10 hours and it always gets stuck there, so i tried the older blockchain snapshot and it also got stuck but at a much earlier block

running on windows 8.1 X64 using qt 0.4.0 wallet, conf:

addnode=37.187.100.75:41682
addnode=5.9.81.9:41682
addnode=188.16.203.240:41682

any ideas?
