Seems like you didn’t get right what a fork is. There is no need to give us any private keys to get the coins.
All snapshots will be captured automatically and coins will be available after we launch the mainnet.
Indeed, after the mainnet launch, you will need the private key to control the coins (this is general blockchain feature). We will check the security and conduct an audit before the launch, the source code will be open for everyone. Also, before entering your private key, you can transfer all your Ethereum funds to another wallet. Anyway, there is no point to charge us in anything.
According to your logic, any fork project can be called a scam.

Being from other part of the globe my chance to catch the discussion is only through live streaming and that I won't miss. I think the topics will be one voting node, sidechains technology to solve the scalabity and other issues and blockchain on tindermint development. I ma sure the number of attendee will be reasonable after release of mainnet this is probably first such meetup.

am I the only one that doesn't quite trust the upcoming exereum airdrop? Seems like the project doesn't add any value to the crypto space and its just using succesful projects to 1. ride their waves and 2. maybe try to trick people
We don't know how they will realize their project at the begining. But in this action I see perfect marketing plan that means exereum team are good in marketing.
And for me extra coins aren't bad bonus to my portfolio.
You don't need other people's private keys if you want to send them money. It's a scam.

Yea it sounds a little phishy to me. If your going to do an airdrop, which is giving away equity in exchange for a large number of customers, why not choose ethereum itself or something much bigger than SONM. When air drops happen scams and phishing attacks can happen. Not to mention all the annoying questions we will get in the Telegram Channels!
