12 hours 21 minutes left to go for me. I'm in EST. That means its 11:59PM EST.  Grin

Think its gona be worth mining?

Yes I do. There seems to be a lot of thought put into this. The block sizes are generous and so are the early rewards.

I'm hoping it goes well.

I'm switching my miners over straight away. It's going to be well worth mining with the Idea's the Dev has! Multipools can't hammer it either which is nice, KGW in place Smiley

Yes I am a pirate, 300 years too late!
The countdown seems to be GMT from what i can see. It starts 12 pm UK time on the site!

Be nice if someone actually knew. This is two days of figuring out when this thing launches  Grin

It would be nice if the DEV would chime in and give us a launch time in GMT!!

It seems to me there's a glaring need for a countdown calendar service that does the translation for us Cheesy

I'm not sure if the EU has the clock change in the spring and fall.  But it sure fucks us up with places that don't change!!

One of the problems with the countdown counters is that most of the US went on daylight savings time.  In the winter CST is GMT-6, in the summer we're GMT-5.

Was screwed by lame countdowns 2 times a week, better tell me UTC (GMT) time. But if you are American, tell me EST time because I am sure that you don't know how to calculate timezone offsets.

Sure thing man, I'll help you out after you make a comment about how dumb Americans are.  Grin

Yes, I have every indication that the launch is scheduled for tonight at 11:59PM EST. The countdown on the official website says the same thing.

Secondly, I PM'ed the Dev and he confirmed it was 11:59PM today. He didn't mention the timezone, presumably because he's American too, and that's how we roll. Cheesy

So get your miners ready to rock in around 16+ hours. Cheesy

The launch time never changed on the official website.
The confusion started when the altcoin calendar added their own (incorrect) countdown

That is correct. Start time is March 20th 11:59 pm. Never changed. Someone else added info on other sites and did not edit. Nothing ever changed.
