Hi i add us to sharexcoin exchange to voting https://sharexcoin.com/votings?coin=SPN  they pick coin every 24h so we have a chance to be there in this week.

Great! Will get on voting for us there as well! Keep those mintpal votes coming!

If anyone wishes to send an support request to Poloniex to back up mine this could add to the decision!

Is Spartancoin still on Bittrex? I can't seem to find it

I believe they removed it to add new coins. This is a good thing for us as it wasn't trading there anyway and less pre add price speculation at a low level Smiley! check out C-Cex should you want a trading spot right now also just received this:

"Hi Darktrix,
Okay, I will bring it to his attention again, and I thank you for the updated information.  Warm Regards, Angela
Ticket: http://poloniex.freshdesk.com/helpdesk/tickets/3720"

In response to my email about adding SPN to Poloniex!

Bear in mind i emailed 2 weeks after launch and they wanted to wait a bit longer for the stability of the coin when reading.

Hopefully the outcome will be good!

Thanking you!!

No problem at all!

Sent a large sum of SPN across for this. Use them as you wish, I believe this is going to have a Strong  impact on the community and is what Spartans stand for!

Lets make this happen Spartans!

Aroo!

Awesome... appreciate the support. I am about to get on a plane to head up north. I will catch up with you shortly.

No problem at all. Have a safe flight, speak with you soon!

Does the dev know whether the total coin distribution will be halved possibly.

We are working on the PoS. I am talking with a few individuals on a couple different scenarios for the coins future as a PoW/PoS coin or just PoS. I will release the info once we decide. I did send out a detailed email of what we are looking at for changes. This went to investors only as it had an effect on them as well. That email is a good indicator of what is coming.

Halving never will get a value to coins, block reward halving only results in low difficulty, so people will mine the same amount of coins anyway.

I've been following this coin for some time now.  It's great to see it survive and slowly start to thrive.  And I love how responsive the dev is.  I've joined the voting on MintPal.

I agree with sammy007, except I wouldn't make it scrypt-n.  I just read an article today on coindesk that said that companies are already designing scrypt-n asics: http://www.coindesk.com/mining-roundup-mineral-oil-bitmain-scrypt-n-mining

Before sammy's post, I was going to suggest a change in the algorithm as scrypt asics will just mean a few of the most powerful miners will end up with all the coins.  However, I would suggest X11 for the algorithm.  It should stay asic-proof longer, it's much more power efficient, requiring only ~60% of the power used for scrypt, and it keeps hardware much happier since the lower power dissipation means much cooler operating temps.

Ok, let's forget about ASIC resistant Scrypt-N due to some bullshit and switch to X11 - already FPGA mineable algo.

Make that asic deterrent  Smiley nothing is asic resistant . Not even bunny petting.

Nothing is ASIC-proof, but scrypt-n is resistant.

My suggestion to developers - make it scrypt-n right now before mintpal. It's easy. New bunch of ASICs coming next week. SPN will gain attention right now along with mintpal is coming. This hard fork will salvage SPN from 1 satoshi sellwall on mintpal. Many supporters here just pretending and hoping to be first on exchange to set this sell order.

Anyone know when the POS phrase will start.

Many thanks.

Spartans.....!!!

I am looking for the exact time the ICO distribution ends, give or take a few days. I sent out an email to all the investors on the terms of the change and look to implement them.
