I was acting as an independent legal department long before SP-Tech (check https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/kslaughter-and-zumzero-from-actm-and-vmc-are-deleting-legitimate-posts-253282 for reference)

That was a good laugh. Thanks for the link !

I don't have to explain / answer this to you...It is more than obvious...

Now you are acting as a SP-Tech PR...or maybe more like their legal department...SP-Tech is silent...but you are not...carrying these function(s) for them... Grin
Let's be it...Your choice, RoadStress...
But don't even try to convince me that it is for free...or "for the love of God"...Capisco... Wink
ZiG
Edit...:
Last question...Are you Jewish, RoadStress...Huh

I am not jewish and I hope that you will keep your promise and this will be your last personal question about me.

The thing I find most surprising is that ST is still pricing the Sept. SP30 machines at $3895 + shipping.  For the same price, I can buy 4+ TH of S3 machines and mine 4 - 5 BTC before the SP30 starts mining. To be competitive, the SP30 should be priced no more than 2.5 BTC

You think so...maybe I can NOT justify this inflated price either...But ask SP-Tech... or "Money-Tech" in translation ...  Huh

Or better...ask RoadStress ...he will explain everything to you ...and me...and anybody else...

They pooped pretty bad ...but SP-Tech / RoadStress ... will NOT admit the bad smell... Grin

BFL ...or KnC ...you name you favorite "here"...did not either...

Guy mentioned 6 TH and even 6.5 TH a number of times here without qualifying the statement by saying 'but not on 110 volts'

Then let yours mine on an AAA battery and ask for compensation.

Thats a feckless remark. The specs don't claim it will run on an AAA battery. They do claim it will run on an input voltage of 90-264 volts AC and they do not qualify the performance based on input voltage.

In fact, there is no good reason that the SP30 performance should depend on input voltage, provided it is within spec.

And the fact that the SP10 had lower hashrate on 110V didn't made you think that the SP30 will have lower speed on 110V? For me it was obvious that the 110V has it's limitations that don't exist on 220V, but not for you.

For me, it was obvious that the machine had it limitations in general (ability to ROI), but not for you.

When the CEO goes around repeatedly throwing the 6 - 6.5 TH numbers around on the forum, he has a responsibility to qualify his statements if there are any. I'm not surprised that some of the more experienced SP30 customers seem to be unhappy with the compensation plan as it currently exists. And I am surprised that you are being so defensive about an obvious shortcoming in the SP30. Did anyone really expect it to go perfectly without any problems ?

@Rawdog - come on dud you happened to get lucky that bitmain ninja launched their 28nm hardware , don't act like you knew what u were doing when you passed on the sp30.

It was obvious to anyone watching Bitmain that when they started heavily discounting the S1 that the S3 launch was just a few months away. It didn't require clairvoyance.

yeah they talked about it but there was nothing to order around may and april

Right, but we all saw it coming. And we all know Bitmain's reputation and style. Anybody that ordered the SP30 back in April or May have waited a LONG time and must be hurting now considering how much they were selling for. There was never a hope of ROI under realistic conditions for those who purchased at that time at retail prices.

If they had met spec ROI would have been fine, hindsight is 20/20 but yeah this is most definitely my last preorder unless we see some amazing compensation

...From BTCGuils stats..."

"AntMiner   778,284.88 GH/s "  ...or about 1.600 S3'S in their farm alone at the moment... / 4.1T = ~190 SP30 ...
............

You got it all wrong. I was asking about his S3s because of course I am aware that the S3s are in the wild.

Unfortunately not ... Do you see that everybody see your "unbiased" post(s) since your really VERY successful SP30 group buy... Do you think that everybody here is blind...or stupid... Huh

Cheers,

You haven't answered to my question after accusing me of "furiously jumping on everybody":

Please tell me what from my quote makes you think that I jumped furiously on bitcoinbearhk because of his critical remarks. I'm a bit confused right now.

That's not such a good number for people who were promised 6TH on their 120 circuits

Customers were never promised 6Th/s on their 110V circuits. Another lie.

Now we are seeing shipped units hashing at 4.1 TH that makes it look worse.

This is for the 110V and is actually a good number. Running the units on 220V are obviously giving ~4.5TH.

Doubt away suckers!  S3s are cranking away day and night while Spondoolies is giving their people nothing but lies and sub 4TH.

Where is the proof?

Read it and weep.

That's a single s3 , I have to say its impressive that a single s3 can earn close to 0.01119837 BTC a day

lol I'm a customer and I have got zero contacts since they sent the apology email about not meeting their spec.  We are also still waiting for REAL compensation package not some stupid 1 or 2 btc discount
they need to replace our missing hash rate and efficiency losses.  Yeah I get that is pre-order and we took a risk but they pretty much assured us they would meet spec so when the s3s came out a lot of us passed on the early batched.

SP-Tech will not give daily reports with everything they are doing that day. Shipping has started and there are plenty of units to be delivered before my GB units since the August units were selling long before I started the GB.

The compensation will arrive in October. I think you are waiting on the details of the compensation Smiley

I stand corrected. And I appreciate you did not pick an address arbitrarily from the member list.

I don't think you need to stand corrected.  That clown posted the mining address of a single S3...

[...] I am sitting in a room full of S3s.[...]

I actually lucked out - got a bunch of S3s just for the fun of it - and I am totally shocked how good they are.
....
By the way, I sent a new order for S3s this week - 10X my old order.

Your address shows only one S3 mining, but you stated that you got "a bunch of S3s". Where is the "bunch"?

Also you stated that you made another order that is 10x bigger than your previous one so that means at least 10 more S3 miners. I am waiting for the proof of them hashing!
