What ?? you don't mention AM in the list ??  Grin

Nope didn't forget them.

Can you answer my question though?

At what point in time has spondoolies offered the best $/gh or w/gh?

Basically this is a war on. It is to develop the cheapest most efficient chips and there are only two real players Spondoolies versus BitFury with the capabilities to do this level of design.

You can't be serious.

Are you forgetting about bitmain, innosilicon, 21e6, asicminer, knc, or blackarrow?

SP30 'Rockerbox' - 200 GH/s; "The first ASIC company to break the 0.5 W/GHs barrier

I'm curious to know how that is possible without chips in hand.

Bitfury gen1 chips are capable of more than 0.5w/gh at the wall and blackarrows minion can do it as well.

I've also never known bitfury or spondoolies to be the cheapest.

Is there actually any point in time where spondoolies had the best $/gh or w/gh ratio?

I don't understand why they stopped producing the SP10 Dawson, it would still sell like crazy.  Huh

SP10 'Hammer' - 7.5 GH/s; 0.58 W/GH/s ; Costs sub $0.90 GH/s for the chips?"

SP30 'Rockerbox' - 200 GH/s; "The first ASIC company to break the 0.5 W/GHs barrier" Costs sub $0.50 GH/s for the chips?

SPXX 'PickAxe' - XXX GH/s; 0.34 W/GHs; Costs sub $0.40 GH/s for the chips?

SPXX 'Mattock' - XXX GH/s; 0.10 W/Ghs; Costs sub $0.20 GH/s for the chips.

Spondoolies is going Nuclear on efficiency and price and hopefully they will continue selling their chips to anyone with the cash / btc.

It's awfully quite out here, perhaps the calm before the storm? lol. All the busy miners grinding away, all working hard to make there ROI. I'm pretty close to ROI with my SP10. By the time it does it will be time for my SP30 to start it's hashing! lol Thanks Spondoolies-Tech crew for producing such quality equipment and support!

Indeed. Busy grinding!

True, quality is built in ... but I keep wondering ... and have voiced this in various threads  ... a 6 Th/s miner is fantastic ... not seen before ... and I can't wait to receive my orders.
The bar is set .. BUT what next?
Sponds ... what are you working on ? ...
A little teaser would be appreciated by all.

As Grix said. The information is out there if you know where to look.

To give the others a breath of fresh air regarding sales Smiley

seems like it either 1) isnt profitable to produce and sell the SP10 anymore or 2) instead of using funds to purchase/assemble SP10s they are allocating funds towards bigger/better things (SP30's and future product).

They've actually been quite clear on what is next.. They have two teams working, one on gen3 sha chips which will be a complete redesign with aggressive spec goals ($0.2 and 0.1 W per GHps), slated for release in Q4. Another team is working on a scrypt chip, also slated for Q4.

happy with that  Grin
