so why can't you sell the products to a "member" from a different country and they pay you to ship the products to your country.

How many percent the 2 Units of SP10 MAY batch package can get ROI if we pay in BTC?
MOSTLY 0% => BUY BTC if you can OR stop risky minning.
Spondoolies, Bitmain, KnC, Hashfast, Cointerra... will try their best to make sure that we will have over 17% difficulty increasement/shift from now.

YEah, per-orders is dead.  I think the community is tired of funding R&D with historically high risk of failure to deliver as promised.  Not that spoondoolies wouldn't, they seem to be legit so far, but it's just not a good marketing strategy anymore.

We wish. In reality they sold out their April batch and their Aprll + July and March + July bundles. Preorders are slowly dying, but unfortunately not dead yet.

2nd that.

Love the look of the hardware, but these guys can kma if they think I'm paying them now for something to hopefully be delivered at some future date. Build it, stock it, and THEN sell it.

When you have some to sell, let me know. I'll take several.

There have been some rumors circulating that certain vendors have decided to prioritize self-mining over commitments to their customers, increasing the difficulty and lowering the ROI for everyone.

Self mining example

In light of these news we at Spondoolies-Tech have decided to launch a super-special promotion as a service to the miners community.

Starting today we are offering a special deal on the SP10 – Dawson for delivery in May. What’s so special about it? We are now offering 2 units for as low as 7,995$. That’s 2.8 TH/s, in May, of the most efficient machine in the market for only 7,995$.

Order now on http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/products/2-units-of-sp10-dawson-may-batch

I thought this was going to be an 'in stock' company like bitmain?  but this deal is for may orders?

Please stop preordering from companies sheeple.

3-rd that...wait for "in stock" ...maybe June orders...3 for $5,999...right...?...lol Smiley

There´s a reason why engineers/operators wears, almost, spacesuits when working with wafers etc  Roll Eyes , but hey never mind they can wear jeans, right?

Your statement seems to imply the suits are for ESD protection.

The suits have NOTHING to do with static control other than,
since they have to wear them FOR OTHER REASONS anyways,
they make them ESD friendly too.

Let me guess, your 'ESD expert' cert. is from Apple?

YMMV

Cant believe people are bitching over the safety of the way there tools are placed, wtf is that all about
This company could become number 1 in the asic market, the potential is there..

ESD is serious shit  Grin
There´s rules and standards to follow if you work with electronics and components.
(If you´re a serious business you follow them to minimize risk/RMA cost).

There´s a reason why engineers/operators wears, almost, spacesuits when working with wafers etc  Roll Eyes , but hey never mind they can wear jeans, right?

What has that got todo with anything,at the end of the day if they have accidents or problems its there own fault, there task is to provide bitcoin mining machines, what happens behind closed doors is there buissness.

Sir, i suggest you study on how ESD works and what kind of damages it can make.
Then you will change your view, i promise.

Just let this sink in, last year a single Apple Service Partner spent 14K USD / Month in just ESD safe cleaning products for ESD carpets... You think a huge company like Apple do this for fun? No, it´s because it´s necessary to guarantee a working product. Like i said, ESD damages is serious shit and not something to "look above or beyond".

Spondoolies seem to have no problem design, manufacturing, and selling working hardware on their own so I would guess they know what they are doing.

I don't even think I've heard of a single faulty SP miner.

Network triggerable "identify unit" LED
Power LED
Status LED: Green = mining, Red = not mining

+1

Second power LED not really needed, btw. Green: mining, Red: not mining, Off: off.

Question to the community:
For SP30 it's too late (we're too deep into the design) but for future miners, is LCD with Hashrate / Temperature / IP / other status desirable ?
If so, what data to display ?

Network triggerable "identify unit" LED
Power LED
Status LED: Green = mining, Red = not mining

If LCD screen is implemented then:
IP address
Temperature
Hashrate

I like the LED indicator idea better than an lcd display. A full display just seems overkill and expensive.

In addition to a red and green LED maybe an orange one for when it is hashing but not optimally.
