A quick update on current status.

The SP10 units for April are sold out.
The bundle which includes shipment of SP10 in March is sold out.

Due to request coming in we are opening yet another batch of the SP10 - Dawson for the first half of May.

This means that you can now order one of the following:

  • SP10 1.4 TH/s shipping early May
  • SP10 1.4 TH/s shipping in April + SP30 5.4 TH/s shipping in July
  • SP30 5.4 TH/s shipping in August

We are trying to keep up with demand and are very happy to answer any questions you might have at [email protected]

Shouldn't the May batch be at least a little bit cheaper than the April one?
For example, Bitmain lowered the price of their second batch of S2 miners by $300 from the original price of the first batch.

That's an extremely limited warranty period.
We'll review our policy compare to the acceptable in the market and might revise it.

I thought the policy should be in accordance with the hardware not with the market.

I think you better do...Widely accepted in the electronics/computer industry are MINIMUM 1 year warranty policies...Correct me if I am wrong...

What's your refund policy?

And also how much warranty?

I echo these questions, but I haven't seen a response yet. Anything on these, SyRenity?

Sorry, missed these ones during the launch rush.

The full TOS is here:
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/pages/terms-of-sale

In a nutshell:
  • All sales are final, we guarantee to deliver the ASIC units on time and per the announced specifications (we bound on this to our VC investors as well!).
  • DOA - 14 days within purchase, via RMA procedure defined in TOS.
  • Warranty - 90 days limited, assuming no modding was done to the units.

I actually had my finger on the trigger to buy one until I saw this.

Unfortunately, I can't remember a time when the non-refundable / limited warranty approach hasn't burned a customer...so as shiny and well-engineered as your product may be, I'll sit on the sidelines until you guys have established yourselves. Nothing against Spondoolies, of course, but my tolerance for risk is quite a bit lower than it once was.

Wow, talk about buyer beware.  That's an extremely limited warranty period.

If it croaks after 3 months, sucks to be you!

So Israel (your local market) is the only market that suffers from this ?

What about manual payment process ? or can I just stop by your offices in Keriat Gat ?

Sorry, but we will sell to Israeli market only once we find a local distributor.

That said, you are welcome to visit us in Kiryat-Gat and meet the team - just ping us before at: [email protected]

Question for those who paid with BTC,

do you get an email order confirmation (with order number) after the BTC is sent? What happens if you dont send BTC within the 15min limit or not sending BTC at all? Do you still receive an email?

I want to know if email is sent only once they confirm payment.

We using BitPay, and once the BTC confirmations are clear, you will get an order confirmation email.

So you're saying if i receive the confirmation email, my payment is completed?

Does Bitpay also email me a confirmation email?

$5,360.00 .. including shipping for $365.00...DHL...7-10 days...I guess... Huh

Edit:  Shipping to Florida, USA...

Ouch. I can buy 8.7BTC right now (Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at 4:24:16 PM UTC) for $5360 from Coinbase. Do you think this miner will generate more than 8.7? I don't.

Me either...I am not buying ...not NOW...blind trust can be very expensive... Wink

Compared with a 1TH (possibly clocking a bit higher?) Antminer at 5.7BTC, this product actually fits into a certain niche for investors who use server racks and are willing to pay a 10-20% premum to run the same hashrate in 2 rack units as bitmain would require 12 rack units for

Exactly. The density is insane, and I don't think "1.25U" does it justice. Its 5.5cm thick and 1100W, my MOUSE is thicker than that.

This is why i'm very skeptical of the specs and longevity
