So are there any plans to fix the code or if not the code then the original post, so that they do not contradict one-another?

-MarkM-

We fixed a lot of things from where this started to where it is now. I'm not sure which issue you are talking about

Sorry for dumb question.  How to i add node?

In your spots.conf file in the %appdata%

addnode=the ip

Just add that and the end of the text file

So go into appdata find the spots folder.  After that i dont see a spots.conf do i just create a txt file named spots.conf?

Do i need any command to get it to import it after?

rpcuser=x
rpcpassword=x
rpcallowip=Your Miner IP
rpcport=Your Miner Port
server=1
gen=0

block_nTime=1317972665
block_nNonce=2084524493
maxconnections=100

addnode=69.85.86.195
addnode=68.103.6.158
addnode=71.187.248.95
addnode=70.69.238.84
addnode=108.185.218.246
addnode=70.98.114.229

Just open up a text file in notepad. Change File Type to *.* and save as spots.conf at %appdata%/spots/spots.conf

I first installed the Mac client or OS X 10.8.4 without any issues.
I have now tried on 10.7.5 but can't get it to sync - any suggestions?

@iGotSpots great, thanks for confirming this

@klee in the client, go in Help - Debug window - console
type getmininginfo

To solo mine, type setgenerate true -1 (uses all cores)

No problem. I tried to have a Windows / Mac / Linux Client available at launch with a Block Explorer so we could make sure it was 100% perfect. It's paying off now. Great start so far, very stable
