I'm in the workshop with him right now.
I'll provide a few photos later.

Too much work!

It sounds like you should delegate some work to him. He's probably being lazy and ripping up tissue paper to impress the ladies

Hey guys, I'm still here if anyone was wondering.

About Mr. Spread (Dev) leaving, did we find out anything about why he left?

We're waiting for your new python skills to come on line   Wink
Haha, well that might... be a problem.

I might get back into it soon though.

This whole scaling bitcoin thing has got me thinking that its being looked at in terms of one dimension.

Scaling can only happen on the Bitcoin Blockchain. When in reality, bitcoin is a distributed ledger. So, distribute the fucking ledger.

I can smell another white paper in the air.

How is scaling aided by a more distributed leger? A higher volume of transactions/day can be handled if there are more nodes and they are distributed across a larger space geographically?

It's the segregation of the witness that means you can segregate the data. Separation of contracts to places designed to handle large amounts of data. Simples.

If you do end up working on a whitepaper I'd be willing to proof read it for spelling errors and such so feel free to pass it along  Smiley

If he gets access to that amount of BTC I'm starting a campaign for him to put 1 percent of those coins into SPR - after all we will be supporting what he seems to have helped build  Wink

Jesus, bloody, hell...

If true, these guys have millions of BTC between them.

Not millions of $$ in BTC. Millions OF BTC.

If they've been telling the tax authorities little lies, they'll go to jail for a long time.

So, basically...I believe this guy is almost the real deal. Not Satoshi, but bloody hell he's been mining Bitcoin since practically day 1, difficulty 1.

Props.

he is not satoshi ...

he has a lot of btc - and so do many others - but he certainly is not satoshi ...

craig is nothing more than an opportunist that has found his time in the limelight - and is using it to his advantage ... nothing more ...

#crysx

This guy is no common opportunist. Without knowing if he has the various degrees and qualifications he claims to have; he is as smart as they come.

I'd put him in the cunning camp.  He has a plan and he is executing it.

My current guess is that he is positioning himself to take control of 1.1m BTC.

no common one - agreed ...

but an opportunist nonetheless ...

satoshi has control of a wallet much larger than craig claims to have - and if satoshi himself wanted to - could move any one of those coins in that wallet ...

to this day - not a single coin moved in the original wallet ...

if craig does take control over 1btc - let alone 1.1mbtc - that proves nothing more than him being a smart money maker ...

i have a feeling this will be the next feathercoin, i'm accumulating

Feathercoin?  Huh

I just looked at the chart and it doesn't look like anything remarkable happened hahah.

i mean same accumulation phase, price moving from 7k to 10k all the time, like feathercoin from 1500 to 2k, then boom, same thing will happen, a boom is incoming here

don't know man it look like it can be dumped, the sum on bittrex is very high when reaching 8000 satoshi, and there was already a pump in january, no coins has a pump so close together

This CSW guy has basically been mining the hell out of Bitcoin since 2009 with other people.

They probably mined hundreds of thousands of Bitcoin and started doing stuff with them as the price started to go up.  He probably has singed off a load of Bitcoins into trusts and is waiting to get the coins back into his ownership.

Somewhere along the line, they began to play with creative accounting to gain the benefit of R&D tax credits. It's likely that the Bitcoins went up in value by massive amounts between them doing all this and they got an unexpected windfall from the value of the R&D credits.

I doubt he is Satoshi, but it does seem like this guy is loaded with Bitcoins.

Why would I think that?

The Australian Tax office.  There must be some decent paperwork linking Bitcoins with a tax reclaim that CSW and his advisers have made.

Things might have gone sour somewhere, but they would still have needed to show a decent amount of Bitcoins to get as far as they did.
