I've been out of touch with spreadcoin for a while, and would like to go how th coin is doing. Is there still some development going on? How about the masternodes/service nodes? did we get anything from there? When i "left" we were doing tests on masternodes, are there still some tests going on?

I am currently working on my own implementation of Servicenodes, that I will release in the next days. (I am dead set to release it before end of year!)

Waiting to help with the test nodes if it is around the corner. Also any idea how many coins to run a service node or will it be like original plan and whoever runs with the most without being kicked?
Yep, original plan still stands. I strongly believe that a COMPETITIVE COLLATERAL is the way to go, and I will demonstrate it.
The idea is to expose the collateral to the same market forces that hashrate and currency value are exposed to too.We will not have a fix limited number of Servicenodes though, but a
slowly growing limit, based on something like
(total coinsupply) / 2880 (we will find out best parameters in testnet).
Decentralization and competition are similar concepts, in fact they go hand-in-hand, and that's why it will work.
