For a 500Mh/s farmer,I would recommed you to buy a copy of optimized gpu miner from wolf0,it will make your 500Mh/s to 750Mh/s+.

No, they aren't often - it depends on the kernel. I usually make a deal with some farmers for some BTC up front plus a percentage - it works out pretty well.

10BTC is a fair price,I think. 50BTC is way too much.

For DRK, it was worth it - as X11 had tons of profitable coins at the time, and it was actually three miners - x11, x13, and x15. With those three, again, at that time, you'd have been wildly profitable for a good while.

True,spr price is falling day by day.It's pretty risky to spend btc to buy an optimized gpu miner.

Spead is a different case to Darkcoin though. With Spread, miners actually perform a useful function and secure the blockchain with decentralised hash. 98% of Darkcoin miners just aid in shortcircuiting blockchain security by mining on the same few pools, then bitch about their money hose shrinking because Masternodes are earning a cut of the block reward by providing everything that makes the coin valuable.

As MyFarm has pointed out, 'the market' wasn't valuing Spread's true decentralisation very highly, because 'the market' is currently a very tiny pack of speculators very few of whom have a grasp of crypto fundamenetals or even care about them. Masternodes in Spread will add value to the currency by providing tangible utility like Instant Transactions, and thus benefit miners.

If you're going to claim that this is a bad economic model then please state why, without resorting to vapid blather about 'the rich getting richer.'
