That is correct, all the old miners run using old BTC protocol, no miner yet exists that runs the new protocol required alongside the Algorithm implemented for Straks.
For the moment devs are "gaining" trust by deleting uncomfortable posts.

Instructions of solo mining.
1. Download wallet from https://github.com/straks/straks/releases
2. Extract into directory of your choosing
3. Run straksd.exe
4. Run straks-cli.exe getnewaddress
5. Create batch file with the following;

You know to gain trust there should be available mining software at the start, pools etc. No bla bla - "we have some modern technologies".
All that "technologies" are crystal clear - to make hidden premine for another PND shitcoin. While everyone will fuck with shitty cpu"miner" you released - you will mine at full GPU power that you have while repeating mantra - "we are ONLY able to mine with CPUs, exactly like everyone else in the community"

whose party? I'm pretty sure that devs had intentionally changed wallet code to make mining with GPU for the rest impossible in the start. Instead of instamine they have an illusion of fair start and will mine with own ready to use miner. Just other sort of instamine.
It's sad but it isn't obvious for others. There is no other reason to make GPU mining impossible with old lyra2v2 algo. Even CPU mining with normal cpu-miner is impossible. Only some shitty"miner" - and you don't even know what it is doing. Of course it is hidden premine made another way.

I certainly hope nobody trusts the creators of Signatum, based on the findings that we have presented to the public of their activities. Those two who shall not be named in here, have absolutely zero ties to STRAKS.

around 75% of CPU usage will be most efficient.
I hope GPU miners will be available soon.
