When will STRAKS be paid which is swapped  with signatum?

As we know , it must be paid in january ?

is there  more definite time?

The swap will take place over a long period of time.  That period depends upon what portion of the existing SIGT are burnt for the swap.

If 100% of SIGT is swapped then it would take 6 years for all of it to be swapped out.  If it is 50% then it will be less.

Why. you might ask...

If the swap were all done in a day, the STRAKS market would crash due to the sudden shift in a 2 cent coin suddenly being worth more than a dollar (adjusted for the 4 for 1 swap).  A large percent of the newly minted SIGT swaps would be sold right off the bat and miners of STRAKS would be punished.  So, the SIGT community that decides to swap is essentially going to be mining STAK over the swap period.  This will put their newly minted coins on a par with miners.

BTW, I am mining STRAKS at this moment.

For those that want to complain about the swap... read on.

1. Nobody who bought or mined SIGT is owed ANYTHING at all.  We took a risk and lost.

2. The STRAKS developers, even when considering a possible 6 year swap out, are doing the SIGT community a service, IMHO.

3. Nobody has to swap.

4. Having an option with this is a good thing.

5. You win some, you lose some.  It would have been perfectly fine with me if SIGT had just died on the vine.  I had written it off as nearly worthless.  STRAKS swap, as I see it, is a windfall.

Is the swap of SIGT for Straks still operational? If so, how can this be done?

Thanks for the information about active nodes for syncing SITG wallet. Those nodes work perfectly for me, of course, after a few hours of operating

It's unbelievable. I have more than 20 confirmations in stracks block explorer, but stocks.exchange shows only one!

stocks.exchange has always been slow for me. the amount of confirmations on the block explorer doesn't line up with what they show on the website. This is the same for all cryptos (ETH and NUKO are the 2 I've tried), so I wouldn't get too worried. Just be patient

STEM - football token exchange market!
Hi there. Saw this coin listed on coinmarketcap.
Can I buy it now at Coinexchange and hold without all this swaps, burning... and other unnecessary things?
It is listed as STAK (not STRAK) and in this thread I see another mark-name for coin (SIGT)..
Oh, nice to hear it. Yesterday I checked and it wasn't still listed. Good new year for Straks. I wrote to Blockfolio devs for listing Straks in their crypto-monitor app.

You can buy STAK (Straks) and don't worry about burning. It's only for people who has SIGT (Signatum). It was half-successful cryptocurrency, hovewer 2 main devs had scammed and left people practically with nothing. The rest of devs (due to lack of necessary permissions in SIGT) created a new coin called Straks. They wanted be fair for people who lost money on SIGT so they offered a swap (burn) of it and they will receive quarter of their Signatums funds in Straks. Except that Straks has practically no connections to Signatum in any way except first letter "S" of both names Smiley

So answering to your question: yes, you can buy it and hold (HODL) and don't worry about swaps because it won't affect you in any way.

Thank you very much for the answer!

Have anyone tried https://stocks.exchange/trade/STAK/BTC? It looks that there is not too much activity there. Only 0.615235 BTC on buy orders!

If you have a GPU - I highly recommend giving this coin a shot at mining.

Low difficulty (at least after the recent surge) as lead to some surprising returns.

So whats the blockreward after the fees (dev fee and masternode fee) have been removed?

I remember when Cryptopia broke something with sigt and it was unavaible to withdraw for over month. This was one of few reasons of signatum failure (with Doctor and Skankhunt scam), hence listing Straks there is bad... and good idea. I hope for other exchanges too and when the Straks will grow, it can be listed on Cryptopia too.

I remember that too. I think the problem was SIGT not Cryptopia. Dr and the the rest of the developers apparently were not updating the code for sigt so cryptopia was having issues with the sigt wallet as it was so outdated (i think sigt is/was a fork of btc). thats why cryptopia ended up delisting sigt
