If you had read announcements and posts on our discord (which you are a member of on multiple accounts (PF1, coiner, garmin)) you would have seen there has been paid articles done by coinvasity, VirtuGrana - also listings on services and marketing.

The website is still being updated to reflect all the changes currently happening (extended mining, change to x16rt, roadmap project completion/addition).

Bullshit

NO community consensus to move the funds no transparency, only bullshit after the fact!  Typical scam!

You sir, are an IDIOT who probably thinks Global Warming is a conspiracy by western government also Rothschild family controls Central Bank of America and IMF.

Mandatory Update - Version 1.0.0.8

We apologise for yet another mandatory update, this one hopefully the last to resolve the issues.
After discussions with pool operators and investigating ourselves we have decided X16RT is not currently suitable for the Subi Platform.

Only the Veil implementation is currently supported by mining software (the Subi codebase is vastly different) and none of our current pools support X16RT.

We have had to act quick as block 60,000 is approaching faster than ever and have settled on X16R instead.
The variable hashing function of X16R has proven ASIC resistant and we do not forsee any ASIC's being created before we hit block 150,000.

There is support for X16R with all major mining software and the YIIMP software (what most pools use) supports it out of the box.

Thank you again for your understanding and support, as we transition smoothly across Smiley

FAQ:
How do I update my wallet?
Please download SubiCore/Desktop from below and just use the new wallet as normal.

Is there a script to update my SubiNodes?
Yes -

Do I need to create a new wallet?
No, continue using your old wallet.dat with the new wallet application.

Do I need to manually update SubiDesktop?
Yes, due to major changes to the wallet you will have to reinstall using the link below. You do not need to uninstall the old wallet.

Pool Operators:
Please update your wallets before block 60,000 and update the algorithm to x16r which is active AT block 60,000. Please also make sure you enable Segwit transactions and masternode payments.

We need some clarity on the premine,  the 200k premined SUBI are moving a lot https://explorer.subi.io/block/4e275c567531211fa22d1970b762ed038077e4e1a4d4a122a12c1275d2a0db39  when will transperancy of the premine be clairfied?  Almost half the premine has been fractured into much smaller amounts and it appears like only 120k of the original 200k are left https://explorer.subi.io/address/SjQs2FJByJiP4UFuKT1vnTDQwUxsxgVR5q

this does not match the roadmap stated on the website.

"There is currently ~180,000 SUBI set aside in a development fund. These funds are simply held by the Subi Developers and not owned by it, a consensus among the community must be reached in order to move or utilize those funds."

it looks like the funds have been moved, where is this so called community consensus to move the funds?

Mandatory Update - Version 1.0.0.7

Late yesterday a vulnerability was discovered in the Proof-of-Stake code and the way SubiDEX works.
This would open potential attack vectors on the SubiDEX platform once staking was activated. Instead of shutting down the SubiDEX we have decided to delay the transition to staking while we can re write some of the code.
Please note there is NO current vulnerability as staking is not yet active. We have also made a few other changes to the mining phase until we transition to staking.

You MUST update your wallet before block 60,000 otherwise your wallet will get kicked from the network and you may end up on the wrong chain. This includes ALL SubiNode wallets also.

Changes:

 - Staking delayed until block 150,000
 - Algorithm changed to x16rt (at block 60,000)
 - Rewards decreased to 2.5 SUBI (starting block 60,000 due to longer mining phase)
 - Mining phase until block 149,999

The decision was made to move to the x16rt algorithm due to the influx and chaos that Nicehash/rented hash was causing with the blockchain with the difficulty sometimes getting stuck high due to the large drop in hashrate once the rental was over.
We hope that changing algorithm will create a more fair and distributed consensus.

We realise there may be some disappointment for users wishing to stake, but the security of the network and platform are most important.
This allows us to patch any known vulnerabilities and bugs before they happen.

Pool Operators
Please update your wallets before block 60,000 and update the algorithm to x16rt which is active AT block 60,000.

Please double check your password or reset your password - you need to ensure your account is created carefully as we cannot recover for you.

Bitcoin the only GOD.
Taking everything best from open source projects by copy-paste Without credits. Super projects like Particl invested millions and many years in real development work. This is immoral

Monthly Update - Edition 1

We have decided to give an update on where we are, going and been at the end of each month - usual daily news update will be published but we would like to collect everything in one spot and post monthly also.
Yes we realise this update is a little over one month since the platform launched.

Firstly we would like to say thank you for the amazing and outstanding support given so far.
We did not think the platform would reach this many users in such a short amount of time. We have some small statistics we have gathered to share with you all (all within month one).

 - Discord Users: 832
 - SubiNodes Active: 137
 - SubiDEX Accounts: 695
 - Subi Pools: 13
 - Unique Daily Views: 2,713 (avg)

These were all achieved within one month of launching and makes us proud and excited to gain traction so fast.
We have had VirtuGrana and coinvasity do some paid articles and marketing for us which I will link below;

 - https://betweenblocks.org/topic/855/subi-decentralized-private-exchange
 - https://medium.com/@virtugrana/subi-platform-huge-ecosystem-2c1e3dc3096c

We have also made the first listing reward payment, which rewards current and active SubiNodes with any listing fee's paid for SubiDEX with SUBI back to the SubiNode holders.
These can be checked out in our Discord in the #listing-distributions channel.

SubiCore
SubiCore has had a couple of updates to add checkpoint data, chain info, fixes for syncing and a major fix for pools not paying SubiNode rewards.
Current latest version at this time of writing is v1.0.0.3, which is available for download at https://subi.io/downloads/.
SubiCore is our basic wallet, that will be maintained but no new features added to, further development has moved to SubiDesktop.

SubiDesktop
SubiDesktop is patched to the latest version of SubiCore, so all checkpoint data, seed nodes, bug fixes are included.
Current latest version at this time of writing is v1.0.0.3. Active development continues with SubiDesktop with the next release including SubiDEX from within the wallet!

So you will be able to send, receive and trade from within SubiDesktop.

SubiDEX
SubiDEX has been our main focus over the last week or so, with a couple of bug fixes, releasing new markets and attending to peoples need with support.
Listing requests have also taken a large chunk of time due to the amount of interest generated. We are actively trying to get another team together to run the day to day operations of the exchange, while also working in with development on the wallet side of things.
We have put some statistics together for the first opening week at the exchange (total for the week):

 - Total Currencies: 16
 - Total Markets: 22
 - Total BTC Volume: 2.92356622
 - Total SUBI Volume: 289,002
 - Total Users: 695

What is Next

SubiDEX will continuously have markets and new currencies added, while adding features and bug fixes.
We wish to make the process of everything a little faster and smoother for all. The Explorer is due for a large update which will enable the viewing of on chain transactions, accounts and other information.
We estimate this is around 80% done, and will keep you updated on this.

SubiDesktop is also due for the SubiDEX update and we will be asking again for some beta testers to test the in wallet trading, depositing and withdrawing features also (please pm for this).

SubiDEX is also about to have an API released shortly (public and private) which will enable explorers, services and developers to gain information about markets, or even trade bots/depositing/withdrawing etc through the private API.
Documentation is currently being written so developers and users can understand how to use.

Thank you again for your support,
Shade

Math doesn't care what you believe.
From now until block 75000, mining is free at http://pool.bitcoin-rebooted.xyz/ (port 4233).  e.g. 0% pool fee for SUBI

Yeah lol, that's because it's a copy-paste from Particl. What a shameless team guys...

Look at particl.io here, then look at the "Subi" website. Everything is copy-pasted...even the icons, the background triangle thing...then the wallet is a copy-paste with no credits...wow.

The theme/source is available under the MIT license, which is no different than any other project we see use a free or open source theme?

EDIT: Just a friendly note for devs - you're also breaching Particl license: https://screenshotscdn.firefoxusercontent.com/images/c84d9e8b-95e0-43f6-ac28-0c04cc6f2edb.png

Edit: Martin ^^ has spent the past 18 months designing the Desktop app modals and UI/UX. So hopefully understand his frustration with the blood sweat and tears he's put into the amazing design.

Please correctly follow the license of the project your code comes from. There are instructions on github on how to follow open software standards. This applies to your Desktop repo as well as your sips repo.
If you have any more questions feel free to reach out to me or the team. Smiley

And please add PART to your DEX eh!

We completely agree the work Martin did/does is amazing hence our choice in using, although the base code wasn't actually sourced from your repo - but we will honour the licencing and get updated asap.
Unfortunately the Subi Platform itself grew faster than anticipated and we were still in our Beta phase before open sourcing the code, as our DEX incorporation into SubiDesktop requires a third party to check for vulnerabilities.

There was no malicious intent, or trying to cause any trouble or harm.

We would gladly welcome PART to the DEX, you can either fill out the form at https://listing.subi.io or jump on our discord and have a chat with me or other admins/community moderators (https://discord.subi.io)

Math doesn't care what you believe.
The Bitcoin-Rebooted team has elected to support SUBI:

* We are paid listing on dex.subi.io (their exchange)
* We have (3) full nodes on static IPs running
* We have (1) master-node running
* We have added SUBI along with BTCC and BOOT to our Yiimp based pool at:  http://pool.bitcoin-rebooted.xyz
Port 4233 is for general mining, with an initial diff of 128 (auto-adjusts)
Port 4235 is for Nicehash mining, with an initial diff of 64K (will also auto-adjusts)
Pool fee for SUBI is a trivial 0.1% (yeah, 1/10th of 1%)
* We have one GPU rig running on the pool for end-to-end monitoring purposes

Mine on!

SubiDesktop Beta!
29 December 2018

I have sent messages to everyone with instructions on how to download the Beta, if I have missed you please send me another message if you are interested in joining the Beta!
Once there has been enough testing and we are happy that there are no wallet breaking bugs we will release to the public!

Message me if you are interested in joining the Beta
I've tested the Subi Desktop Beta. It's pretty cool. Really liked the interface. Nice work Subi Team! Smiley

More like "good job on ripping off work by Particl Project" (https://particl.io).

This is incredibly shameless copy-paste of Particl code and website, without even slightest mention. Great job!

The Subi project impresses with its endless possibilities, and the most tempting thing is that users can create passive income! But I did not fully understand what technology the project is based on?

As mentioned above, it's all based on Particl Project (minus the DEX).

the similarities are way too obvious to be coincidental. We're either dealing with a severe lack of imagination or...
Either way, this raises so many shades of questions and none of them the least palatable. Forks are as common as sand on a beach in this industry, but not acknowledging the original and presenting the clone as "NEW" does not speak well about the team's true intention and capability - or lack of in this case

Their desktop binary is not even open source, which goes against Particl's license...Sounds very shady to me. I wouldn't trust these binaries, and I'd recommend only opening on a virtual machine. Who knows what they put in there...not open-source.
