Also, how does this token move? How could I transfer it from one exchange to another?
TOKEN is not transferrable if it is on an exchange. You would have to sell it back. Due to the gradually rising price, I think some people will be providing some market making arbitraging the 15% diff.

once the ICO is over, the TOKEN is swapped 1:1 with SuperNET asset
At that point it is freely tradeable with symbol UNITY or you can withdraw the asset to your NXT acct and trade it on the NXT AE

Now the NXT TOKEN asset would be transferrable as it is a normal NXT asset. At the end of the ICO, a 1:1 dividend will be sent to assetholders as of the end of the ICO. After that, the TOKEN asset would only have collectors value as it wont be entitled to any dividends or anything at all. basically it becomes an unbacked crypto with no dev.

Think of the TOKEN as the wrapping that SuperNET comes in.

The NXT has a transfer asset command and you just deposit to an exchange by sending it to your deposit address at the exchange. The withdraw works in reverse and you send it from the exchange acct to your NXT addr

Recently Privatebet won an auction from Come-from-Beyond for a way to obtain provably random numbers from the NXT blockchain. The initial vehicle for this tech will be within the neoDICE asset, which is based on the satoshi dice game. This asset will payout 100% of revenues in dividends. The reason this is possible is that the dev who is implementing the neoDICE will have a significant percentage. So, the asset represents a slightly higher return for purchasers than the actual dev who is doing the work and maintaining the servers. First version will probably use just a few redundant servers, but after discussions with Come-from-Beyond, I think it is possible to fully decentralize the entire neoDICE, but any such Version 2.0 will be something for next year.

I will be encapsulating this provable random distribution of numbers into the SuperNET API and this will solve one of the thorny issues when it comes to making any type of casino game, eg. cards, slots, etc. So, with this API call, if there was a nice GUI and game play for a game, we have a very nice combination. Most of you probably know by now that I dont do GUI.

So, the plan is the following:

1. Select dev for a particular casino game
2. Issue asset to dev 10% to 40% depending on how much capital is needed
3. 50% of the asset goes to Privatebet, 10% to JLH and if capital is needed up to 30% to NXTventure
4. When the game is in beta and completion is virtually certain, NXTventure or the dev will make some available for sale
4b. In the event NXTventure provided capital, enough assets are sold to at least recoup the amount invested and the balance is distributed as dividends to the NXTventure asset holders.

At the end of this process, Privatebet has a new casino game asset providing 50% of its revenues
NXTventure asset holders get some nice dividend or the dev is making some initial sales, or a bit of both
the dev will now have a way to get some cash when needed just by selling a bit off via NXT AE
JLH gets its customary 10%

The games will generally have exclusive for its category, but there might be some exceptions on a case by case basis
All the standard and non-standard games will be considered. Also any unique game of chance is of course always welcomed.

noashh will post an email address for submitting applications.

James

P.S. SuperNET will of course consider partnering with companies on these type of terms. PM me if you are decision maker for such a company

Question. If i bought in SuperNET token and suddenly I need to liquidate my funds for emergency use after a few days, am I able to sell?

I am pretty sure that you can just put a sell order at just under the automated sells and as long as there is any demand left, then you would be able to.

since I am coming in at the end unless you are talking some huge amount, then I can accomodate any reasonable request

James

thank you for your reply

Hi James, I'm very interested.
But one thing I don't know: the supernet is a NXT asset, but if supernet's market value is over the whole nxt market value, can it still be trading in the Nxt AE?  what is the math in there?
you are confusing the money supply with the value of something.
The only thing such a thing will do is make it impossible to buy 100% of SuperNET with a single tx
it would need to be broken up into a serious of tx

Let us imagine a NXT gold asset that represented all the physical gold in the world. I dont know how much there is, but lets just assume that magically we can get it all owned and mapped to this asset.

Will the value of gold all of sudden be worth less than 1 billion NXT?
Of course not!
So, I hope you can see there is little relationship between the total value of NXT assets and the value of NXT.

James

P.S. There is an effect, but this is based on the velocity of money and the the time the NXT is locked in AE tx, I called it the "The Anomaly" in the NXT forum. I am no economist, but basically if there isnt enough freely floating NXT to handle the daily trading volume, then there will be a necessary increase in the NXT price to match this required amount. I think once we get to around 3 billion to 10 billion NXT total marketcap, we could start seeing this, but it really depends on the trading volumes, ave time for limit orders, etc.

Why on all fucking earth would you go with BTER!? Since they are so well regarded in the NXT community...  Roll Eyes

They have practiced similar scenarios before and they are Chinese; less inclined to legal limits Polo is experiencing right now.

I can believe that a Chinese company has fewer legal limits than an American Company.  LOL
Unfortunately, the USA protecting their citizens from all possible dangers is making for a very dependent citizenry
by 2040, well, it is still not certain, so let us remain optimistic!

The registration of securities has been a requirement in the US since 1933 and I really don't see it as a bad thing. Is a government protecting their citizens such a bad thing? Sure, they can go overboard, but I don't think this item does. All registration does is ensure the investors have adequate verifiable information about what they are investing in. This is probably no more than most investors would want anyway.

http://www.sec.gov/answers/regis33.htm

Also, private offerings are perfectly legal as long as the investors are qualified and most states allow a certain number of unqualified investors for a private placement.

I'm surprised also that Polo trades JHL which can probably be considered a security as well. Although I think JHL could be considered a crypto asset, or coin just as easily as a security. There is a very fine line.
you convinced me, I will be offline for a few hours as I am applying for a USA visa, I cant wait to meet all the lawyers Smiley

I'm not trying to "convince" you of anything.

Point of clarification.

I have already described the usages for the BTC raised, but I have not clarified the usage for the NXT and BTCD.
Most likely they will be simply long term HODL as they are staking/forging for their communities.

However, for the NXT as there are quite a few NXT based companies now issuing promising assets. I would like to use the NXT raised as the capital for NXTventure to use for making investments at seed to offering stages. NXTventure has done quite well with assets that I have made and limited success with third party originated assets, so the past performance cannot be expected. Of course, I will do my best to make good solid investments that have the best chances for good returns.

I have been making market rate swaps between my personal acct and the main assets to maximize the revenue sharing that will be going to SuperNET from them. I also am working with large holders of assets so that we can get close to the 50% mark for the key assets. During this process, I had to swap my personal 30% ownership of NXTventure into InstantDEX. And if all goes well, about half of instantDEX will go into the core. So that is a 15% beneficial ownership of NXTventure and I will be able to add another 25% or so. This means that SuperNET will be getting 40% of NXTventure dividends, so I think this justifies letting NXTventure have access to the SuperNET funds for its investments. Now, the NXTventure will need to pay back the capital it is using when the investment is offered to the public sale of assets. After this amount is paid back, then there will be the remaining assets that NXTventure has. For those not familiar with NXTventure, it is like a seed investor that goes from that point all the way to selling the assets, so not that it is exact, but something similar to a VC/investment bank, but operating on crypto time.

What this means is that SuperNET will be getting dividends in the form of the assets that it has incubated. So, for everyone with a good crypto business plan, there is this method of achieving a publicly traded asset and of course the entire SuperNET cross marketing. So this is a quite good plan and I feel better now, as it was not sitting right that arguably one of the most powerful of my assets was on the sidelines for the SuperNET.

I thank the poster who asked me about NXTventure as regards to SuperNET. I dont really think of NXTventure like an operating asset as there is no software it is making, but certainly the hybrid nature of SuperNET is a perfect home for NXTventure and now it will have a decent sized amount to invest.

James

P.S. even though coinomat is not one of my assets, I have been a strong supporter and have a significant percentage of its assets. Due to its key part in the fiat interfacing I believe it belongs in the SuperNET core.

plz dont complain if I am making mistakes.

Mistakes?  What is this 'mistakes' thing you speak of?

my keyboard sometimes gets a sticky key and i put in a bid for BTCD at 825 instead of 82.5 on the NXT AE. I didnt notice and
ended up buying 50 BTCD for over 40K NXT.

However, the crypto world is always having many good peoples and the person that benefited from this graciously reversed the tx.

I am always making coding mistakes, this is why the need for debugging. If coding was like golf without takebacks, then I would be in big trouble.

So I see on the nxt asset exchange: Official SuperNET TOKEN asset: 15641806960898178066

that people are already lining up for this. Most buy orders are at price of 161.

Is the buy price of 161 legit or are people just being funny like all of the other orders below 161?

Do people need to get "in line"?

it all depends on the price of NXT, based on current price it seems the 150 will safely be filled, so there is no need to be bidding the 160, but maybe they like to be donating to the cause so I will not stop the generosity
Now the highest bid will have the honor of purchasing the first ever TOKEN sold, I think I will start a few minutes before bter Smiley

And since this is on the blockchain, this group of TOKEN will have provable documentation that it was the first TOKEN ever sold.

I am not sure if such things have any value for collectors, nor if there are any such collectors, but maybe it is worth some few NXT and this is what the bidders are thinking?

does anybody know who owns the first 50 BTC? Would they have value worth more than 50 BTC? Curious questions

James,
Are the buy orders I see on the NXT AE going to be executed when we go live?
IOW, can I put an order in early like I have with other assets?
I know when I bough into HRNXTPool it was a week b4 it was "live and the buys were just executed in order of receipt.

The NXT AE is fully decentralized. people can bid whatever they want
I will do my best to follow the prescribed rules, but I am doing this manually so plz dont complain if I am making mistakes.

Can anybody simplify the entire thing, starting from BTCD? I am fully confused now.

all info can be found on the net I read 8 hours to roughly understand all Cool

James' is a developer machine beast Cool

Can you just summarise a bit?
no summary possible
specific questions have answers

SuperNET is like a mutual fund
SuperNET is like a coin
SuperNET is like a crypto asset
SuperNET a cause

If you do not understand SuperNET, please DO NOT put in more than 1 BTC to support the cause.
If you understand SuperNET, you can put in the amount you feel is right.
