Although Ratnet is not the most reassuring username to be downloading from lol.
LOL, I'm a "Newbie" here, but that doesn't mean that I'm a newbie in this world (wallets & blockchain), hehe.
There is also the virus total scan there, you can test it again but it wont show anything because the file is only text (the blockchain is only text) you can even open it with a text editor

Same here, & I've attempted to recreate the issue on multiple computers. People don't know how to properly update a wallet?
i have updated many wallets, but i am also having synching problems

You should know someone cant help you unless you give them more info to go on.
My wallet hung around block 3000 for five minutes but then it kept downloading the blockchain.
Apologies, your right, i am sticking at 1868 ish, ive left the wallet in for ages, but really i was posting to let the guy before me know he wasn't going crazy
Will check out that blockchain file and hopefully that should sort it, thanks
Hopefully I didn't come off as rude.
The bootstrap.dat should fix your issues.
I assume you're stuck with 1868 blocks left to download which would be around the time we transitioned to pos.

I've just created a bootstrap.dat. Which is a file that contains a blockchain for the wallet to index via local drive.
This file contains all the blockchain for TorrentCoin until Block 4916.
I've just tested the file on windows 8 without internet and it index until block 4916 then reconnected the internet and started to sync until block 4926 (which is the latest block at the time of this post)
You have to download the file and put it into %appdata%/Torrentcoin on windows.
So it should be something like this. C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\TorrentCoin and put the file there. Open the wallet and it should sync.

all delete folder appdata etc + restart new wallet
problem again..
problem again..
Just open & close the wallet, don't delete appdata everytime..
