Phoenix Miner inflates numbers so it looks like its faster but TRM is more accurate according to pool results.  Do you own tests to find out which you think is faster though.

I would love to try TRM again, but miner shuts down with my Vega 64 rigs (see related posts a page or 2 back).

I have a weird problem, the last card always just mines on 1 mh/s. Does not matter if I have 3, 4 or 6 cards, the last one always mines at 1mh/s. Any ideas?

I have the same problem on one of my 6 card rigs.
Followed instructions from “4GB cards txt” and was trying variations in command values.
Suddenly the last card started working, I was so happy and I did the stupidest possible thing - deleted that
test bat file thinking...I really don’t know was I thinking. Sad Undecided
Rig worked whole 27 hours, then it just switched back to last card not getting over 1 kH/s.
Last 20 hours I am trying to get it back to work but looks like I can’t get the same commands combo.
I’m out of ideas, left it to run like that...last card is getting up to 3.5kH rest are 31.5 MH/s   Undecided
Will try again tho, after I get some decent sleep  Grin
If anyone have any ideas, all are welcome.
Thx

If you haven't, join their discord for a bit more support.

Lots of folks there and lots of help floating around.

Thank you!

Discord’s ultimate goal is to destroy all these sort of community forums by paying $$ to server owners - like team red.

Stop moving there and support bitcointalk. Force team red to provide support here.

Interesting. Personally I don’t like Discord’s format.

For some reasons TRM is not working stable anymore with the Vegas. I have 4 rigs with Vega64 and 2 of them are working ok, maybe 1/day restarts, but the other two are restarting as soon as mining starts. It's strange, because with the same OC both are working fine with PhoenixMiner....

Thanks for the info. BoCo, I’ll do a comparison between Phoenix and claymore and see where it takes me. Shame, I like the reporting TRM gives in the console. And supposedly it’s the only popular miner giving true HR.

Hello, does anybody know what’s wrong with this miner? I read some decent things about trm, but I have 4 6-GPU rigs and can run claymore (eth) non stop for weeks at a time (literally) without a single issue. With this miner tho one rig stops mining every half hour and another one can’t get through a day without failing. They just stop mining, but the cmd window stays open and shows mining hr.

I switched because claymore is no longer active (dead?) and his dev pools don’t connect anymore and I heard Phoenix cheats on hr.

All cards are RX Vega 64, ASRock MB, win 10, 18.6.1 drivers.

?

0.7.13 seems buggy to me.

I've had a rig running (5x 570 8gb) with over 30 day uptime with 0.7.9 but switching to 0.7.13 crashes either GPU 0 or GPU 5 (last gpu) in 4-5 hours. I know there was a bug in 0.7.11 with some cpu and mobo incompatibility but that was supposed to be fixed for 0.17.3 as stated in changelog(?)....

Even applying --eth_dag_alloc_patch as stated on README doesn't help either. Hash and power printout was cool but apart from that there were no hashrate or power improvements either.

YES!

4gb card stopped working today, fix?

Try to restart miner, it should work fine.

And check the GitHub, there is new version Team Red Miner v0.7.12

nothing, all my 4gb rig stopped working with eth

Maybe some extra info would help, driver version? windows performance settings (visual effects and virtual memory)? system env settings added?

using the blockchain driver 22.19.656.0, windows 10 with visual effect off, virtual memory 50gb, all the env thats come in the start eth

the miner start all good but only 1 gpu 8gb are hashing good, the 4gb are hashing at 1mh

Have you tried driver 19.4.3? claymore did most of the testing with that. How much you got system ram? sometimes it helps to have more than 4gb.

And this might help
Code:
Changes in v0.7.10

Release notes:

Ethash 4GB rigs, especially on win, should use --eth_alloc_epoch=N with N being the max epoch that the gpus can allocate. This will avoid DAG reallocation issues.

Same problem here.
Just install v0.7.13, followed instructions, but no result. Hashrate is still 7 Mh/s on the whole 6 GPU rig  Huh

Last thing i can do to help is ask you to read the ETHASH_4GB_HOWTO.txt from that teamredminer-v0.7.13-win.zip ,

Code:
 - This guide and testing applies to gpus _without_ monitor(s)
connected. At this point, there simply isn't enough vram on the gpu
to both store the DAG and drive graphics.

but i think you have to have one card with over 4gb ram or use igpu...
