*Now you are participating in bitcoin block mining lottery :
Every 10 minutes, you have a chance of 150/300,000,000 to get 25 BTCs

so that means roughly 10 x 6 x 24 x 365 x 150/300,000,000 = ~25% chance of getting 25BTC per year?!

Where do you get the "10" from ?
There are 6 chances an hour so -

6 x 24 x 365 chances a year => 2.6% chance of winning in a year

ah yea thats right, i integrated the 10min. XD knew i was wrong somewhere.
cheers.

These calculations are approximate I think.  If one redoes the calculation with 40 years (instead of 1) it would give a probability greater than 1 (impossibe) - and as we know the probability is less than 1.

here is the full bundle with TP-link included available now:

https://technobit.refersion.com/l/1e5.19333 (test link - affiliate program not currently available)

"DICE"+ preprogramed TP-link + USB cable pack
SHIPMENT18-th December 2014
first production batch

I don't want to buy a TP-LINK - I want to use a Raspberry Pi B+ and compile an official cgminer on it.

and so..

without TP-Link.

you're welcome.

"DICE is delivered with set of Win/Linux software" - how is it delivered ?

Has Ckolivas been involved with you in producing updated cgminer s/w for you ?  Can I drive a Bitmain U3 with your software ?

👍 can't put a price on warm feet and comfort

i won £10 on the very first week of the lotto, many years ago. i've won nothing since.
if I get 25BTC with a Dice in the first week, i'll be very content.

I believe that would be not 25% but 0.25% maybe. Idk not had morning Coffee

i got 0,2628 (or 26,28%)

sounds like fun  Grin

for €100 i'd rather have one of these than buy a lotto ticket every week for a year.
a lotto ticket won't give extra heat to your house, one of these will make a nice foot warmer in my office

EDIT, ordered two. one for each foot.

Let me try to clear:
1. We do not do GIT forks, but we strictly publish source code of our drivers with every ne version for the TP-link. Anybody can check it and build it .
2. You accusation about fake CGminer screen is absurd :
    - The RocerBox chip is hashing 200 GHs in our 4 chip design , there are devices working in customers hands already
    - FYI there is a screen mode in cgminer where it changes the data .
    - We never advertised fake data on our devices, it can happen they are over performing rather than under.
3. Ckolivas's job is to make mainstream compatible , with custom drivers we are able to refine the work of the SW with our HW.
4. Most of our devices are used standalone without PC working on cheap TP-link, that have limited resources in terms of RAM and CPU, so with custom driver we are maintaining good performance on this low cost controller.

1:fare enough, the driver are there for any mining software developers to implement.

2: good to know, the chip is capable of 200Ghs, with many people to back it up.
I do remember that CGMiner can go into silence mode, doesn't show all data.
I did correct myself over the "fake screenshot lol" although i have seen some good modified ones, made me look several times over.
over/under preforming or not, the software has been running under 15 minutes, looks like it may have been for 1 to 5 minutes.. give it a 24 hour run... but i can see someone say "lol premined hardware!"
None the less, it shows its Working hardware! for a 160GHs item, showing 140Ghs in 5 minutes, i'd be quite happy with that (better then 100GHs item only giving you 50GHs)..

3: aye, he will need to make them drivers work with his software, you will need to document on how to run that driver, you can maintain it, but don't skimp on the documentation. as i said, Luke-jr would be in the same boat.

4: I've done some work with them and getting them to work with things i want (Pen testing drone anyone?) i know what its like to get software to fit in the small 4MB space.. CGMiner wont fit unless you put it on a diet.. or used something smaller and simple.

these are first 2 prototypes .
ThE production version , that is in production already have a barrel do not worry.

Ah! makes more sense now, thank you
...wait, does it have both? or just barrel? ether way i can power it

It looks to me that board is unfinished, the barrel connector has yet to be mounted as the PCIE also  Wink

The barrel connector should end up next to the USB port.

yeah, but where? there is no place to mount it, barrel should a be a though hole solder mount, but left, next to the usb is a MOSFET, and to the right is a quartz clock can

a patched version of cgminer does not mean documentation to the developers of cgminer so they can implement the drivers for said device correctly.
If technobit has the drivers and gives them up in the fork tree of cgminer, unless technobit tells them how to edit and modify the drivers, its up to technobit to implement it correctly. so guess what, when a new cgminer comes out, no updates to the drivers are going to be implemented, any security holes, memory leaks, chip killing code will be present in the next patch and there after...

What are you talking about dude? Your sentences twist up & make no sense.
Who is they you mean there?
Who will implement?

Type it slowly, one by one. This is not a race.

The people that "They" are is Ckolivas and if i recall correctly, Kano too.
They are the people who run and maintain CGMiner.
Any drivers for hardware that use CGminer is licensed under the GPLv3. This means that the source to any modifications that the hardware makers make to CGMiner code MUST be provided by law if the hardware makers distribute modified binaries.

if they do not, they could get sued

Technobit has offered the drivers as open source, but they better not just throw a blob of code up on the net and call it a day.

If the hardware developers do not give documentation on how the "open source" drivers work with the mining software, things are not going to work properly. Both Luke-JR and Ckolivas will require this.

EG: Rockminer made drivers for CGMiner 4.3.3, making the "New R-Box" run at 110Ghs, but there was a new version of CGMiner out with a security patch.
The devs (Ckolivas) attempted to implement the new modified drivers into the new 4.7.1 and 4.8.0, the drivers are not working correctly. Because Ckolivas does not understand how the drivers work, he needs documentation to get it running correctly. all that Ckolivas can do is modify some numbers and code to get something out, but CGMiner 4.7.1 and 4.8.0 does not run the "New R-Box" at 110GHs but at 80Ghs to 50Ghs.
Some people are lucky to get it working at 120GHs with it, but not all.

do you understand now? technobit better not follow rocketminer.
and i dont mean in the way of making a little mining box like the R-box's, i mean in the way of ignoring the software developers of the mining software.

Technobit never push their driver back to cgminer. If you read cgminer thread & cgminer thread, technobit driver never integrated to new cgminer version. When new cgminer out from CK, technobit fork the cgminer & make new patch.
So technobit maintain the driver on their own.

and there be a problem, any security patches, and issues with the software, technobit will have to integrate it into their fork. and im not running a different mining program for every different mining hardware, i have the latest cgminer, and that is all i use, if technobit doesn't support the original developer of the software... ask what Ckolivas would do.

Hell, i could be completely wrong when Ckolivas hound the hardware developers when they make their own code. Ckolivas is putting driver codes into his software to get it running with the latest release. he wants documentation to make it work.

There is no need for companies like technobit to fork the software and maintain their own version.
Otherwise Ckolivas should dump all drivers out of the software and just let all companies to make their own forks and have everyone run 20 different versions of the same software for their 20 different type of mining hardware.

So,1 6pin PCIE for power, what is the barrel connector powering Huh

Or is it there as an "alternate" way to power the miner, instead of the PCIE  Huh
alternative

is it just me, or does it look like it has both in the
The full prototype hashing

but the board doesn't have a barrel mount point?
As promised PCB "porn"

or is there 2 versions?, it be cheaper to make a barrel to PCIe power plug adaptor then spinning a new board yes?
or i could be missing something entirely?

It looks to me that board is unfinished, the barrel connector has yet to be mounted as the PCIE also  Wink
