Anyone have any stats on ckpool?  I'd be interested to see that since this is marketed towards using that pool for the lottery-aspect.

Has anyone with a so low hashing power already found a block?

I think that in high-cost energy countries a lottery ticket'll cost much less compared to the monthly electrical bill Cheesy
You are forgetting that for the lottery you play once in what :a day, a week, month.
And with blockchain you have roughly 10 games per hour

I think you mean 6 per hour. 10 minutes per lottery. Average. Hey marto, send me a unit? Smiley hehe. I'll wrap it in white and put some dots on it, so it looks like a giant dice.

stop begging, it doesn't suit you  Wink

I would like to get some info about the noise level ... the specifications says ~20 DB at 25 °C ambient temperature ... is this true and is this at max load @160 GH/s? Is it equipped with some high quality 80mm fan that adjusts speed in accordance with the temperature?

The speed is fix at maximum speed of fan. None of Technotbit miner had pwm feature for fan speed control until now, in future maybe  Smiley

These calculations are approximate I think.  If one redoes the calculation with 40 years (instead of 1) it would give a probability greater than 1 (impossibe) - and as we know the probability is less than 1.

What's wrong with winning 2 or 3 times of 25BTC during long time period? I mean loooooong, if difficulty is rising... Did I heard somewhere that BTC difficulty started falling?

after the fire i think, that ~1% of the network, it slowed down, short term it made a few pools and people take some longer time to to crack a block.
its not going to slow right down where it hits reverse. you need to shutdown a hella lot more then that.. also btcguild going down may be part of the cause too.

here is the full bundle with TP-link included available now:

https://technobit.refersion.com/l/1e5.19333 (test link - affiliate program not currently available)

"DICE"+ preprogramed TP-link + USB cable pack
SHIPMENT18-th December 2014
first production batch

I don't want to buy a TP-LINK - I want to use a Raspberry Pi B+ and compile an official cgminer on it.

and so..

without TP-Link.

you're welcome.

"DICE is delivered with set of Win/Linux software" - how is it delivered ?

Has Ckolivas been involved with you in producing updated cgminer s/w for you ?  Can I drive a Bitmain U3 with your software ?

Simple
We make and publish source of a  patch for cgminer , that can be build with cgminer in order to make all technobit devices with cgminer on your desired platform (Win, Linux, Rpi, Tp-link etc.)
With the dice we'll send you a pre compiled cgminer for both win and Linux with only DICE drivers.
You can still use the patch to build together with cgminer and whatever other device drivers you like .
Ckolivas is involved as much we use his open source cgiminer and by GPL licence publish the source of the patch (drivers) for our devices

Unless I'm misunderstanding, this is just a USB based Bitcoin miner. Marto's suggesting you can run a solo node or use ckpool and try to solo mine a block, but you can use this to mine on a pool as well. The DICE themselves aren't winners, it's just Bitcoin mining.

Your formula appears correct though, with the following assumption that difficulty doesn't change either from outside sources, or you buying enough to affect difficulty.

No, you are absolutely right.
Some people just can not see what advertisement mean by using "DICE" word.

I have some questions how this lottery works. Is this only a solo mining that everyone with every mining machine can do? Do this machine have a special setup to run the lottery?
thx

in essence, every bitcoin mining machine is a lottery device if you mine solo with it. this one is just more affordable than any other on the market.
i don't think it's obligatory that you mine solo with this, it's just a quirky option. you can also mine on any other pool with it (i think) as with any other miner.

So, the probability you do have at least one 25BTC winning DICE is:

P(Winners) = 1 - (1- 0,02628)^[Number of DICE bought]

correct?
