Can a TP-Link run both Hex16B and Hex8A1 at the same time? Which do u set as default then?

Yes gator. It can. Set it to hex8 but watch it on startup if it will detect all boards properly. If not just reboot it

That's was huge heatsink  Grin . Seem like use 2 different type FAN, right stiffla?
Can not be sure until the parcel arrived.

I have deported them now to my toilet with an slightly opened window, but they are still to loud in there Cheesy. Already waiting for neighbours to complain Roll Eyes

Are they both Sunon Maglev PF92251V1-000U-S99 DC 12v 4.7W?

It's 127.43m3/h 75cfm.

I'm hoping the bottom one is slower! Dunno how I'd replace 75cfm to that heatsink! Cheesy

Maaan, it will be a challenge to replace them with adequate fans Cheesy

Top one is easy if it's 75cfm replace it with 2x 43cfm = 86cfm.

If the bottom fan is Sunon 2v 2500rpm, leave it as is. If it's faster we'll have to drop the hash speed to get it quiet.

You should be able to stick 2x 92mm fans on top with a lower/quieter RPM in that case.

I will do that for sure, at the moment it is not bearable.
two 92mm ~2000rpm on top, and the bottom one will be replaced too, just got to find the right ones

It's 127.43m3/h 75cfm. I hope they didn't put a 110cfm on the top!

Yeah the heatsink air flows are in a cross + so you cannot use a wind tunnel to cover both heatsinks with a big fan.

Can you measure the length of the heatsink and see if it's 184mm long.

2x 92mm fans on the top was my next idea, depends on length of heatsink though.

yeah heatsink is 183mm long, both fans are 92mm

Where the heatsinks aligned like this = or this +?

If they were like this = I was going to build a wind tunnel and put a 120mm fan at one end and blow air over both heatsinks.

But last I saw Marto changed the heatsink design to +. For that configuration I was going to put 2x 43cfm 92mm fans on top with cable ties.

The heatsink is like this

@ 200 you can run 850 mV stbale if HW more than 2 % for 1/2 hour rise voltage a bit
the you can use some 2500-3000 W fans
LOL... I know you meant 2500-3000RPM, but the thought of a 3000W (4HP) fan made me smile.

Something like that, 39,000CFM.

Oh no! Please don't give Marto & Zich any suggestions for stronger fans! They'll use them! GH to the moon, just needs faster fans! Cheesy

Shhh! Don't mention the Delta 92mm/4800rpm/110cfm!  Wink

Try one volt 1000 mv and 257 clock

I will give it a try, thx Smiley.
Friend of mine just started his HEX8A1 board successfull with Odroid Smiley

This settings are not working after ~10min, but I guess it depends on my current PSU.

I was wondering about putting a slower fan on the top of the miner and two 120mm on the sides to get an air stream.
What do you guys think about this? I guess it would be much more silent than my curretn 80db  Undecided

Can a TP-Link run both Hex16B and Hex8A1 at the same time? Which do u set as default then?

That one Fan on the top is EXTREMELY noisy Angry
yes it works, but it is just a matter of time when my neighbors call the police or my girlfriend kicks me out. this device is ridiculous loud!!  Angry

Beastlymac and dozerz are looking to buy if anyone hates the noise! I did warn you about Sunon Maglev 4500rpm.  Wink

Did you get finger guards? If not, be very careful, these are industrial strength fans, can take the end off your fingers!

I'm gonna replace the fans and run it at a lower clock, if mine ever arrive.

What are good settings for 200GH? Will these A1 run at 1GH/1W there like Bitmine's A1?
