so I just received 3 boards today.

I opened one board to check it and one fan is broken on the edges and some nuts are missing to keep the fans on the board....it is not a deal breaker, but the nuts should have been there Grin

I will test the boards in the evening with my less powerful 40A PSU (still waiting on my new ones).
How do I have to set clock and voltage? Or should I just try to decrease the voltage until it is stable?

You can set all via web of tplink or you can read changelog all settings are inside. A friendly advise. DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN ONE BOARD TO 40 AMPS. NEVER! 40 amps at at the edge. Magic PSU smoke is very close Wink

I did see the pictures you had only one PCI-E connected! A lot of multi rail PSUs (Platimax 1500W) have 30A rails I assume 2x 30A rails will be fine?
More than fine Gator. in your case underclock/undervoltage even one can be fine. Just measure it if you can but on 12V rail not at the wall

yes I wouldn't connect 2 boards 2 one PSU  Grin, already got me additional PSUs for each board
I guess the changelog is in the download folder for the new tplink image right?...I will download the new image in the evening
I really hope it will work this time and that I don't have to many dead chips(or cores) again
Changelog is inside the archive with cgminer patch
The best setup will be a tplink and board powered from one psu 650-700W at least 45A  12/5V - do not mix psu's grounds. Powerful PSU's 85+A are expensive and does not worth the money. if you have 85+A on a single pSU you can connect two boards to tplink + HUB. Never mix grounds. that is my way 0% problems

Shame they have sold out the pre production run. I was interested in one. If anyone is looking to sell one at a fair mark up i would be interested.
March batch is available with reduced price. You can get one from there. But the price and roi does not bother you right?
Any way there will be enough guys with board in hand after a couple of days and you can get one with reasonable markup. However i am not selling mine Grin

Did you see the BitMine A1 1GH/W @ 200GH Video?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91MuwGOgRFo

Are these the same batch of A1 chips we got, or are they a later more efficient batch?

Just wondering if my Hex8A1 will run 1GH/W @ 200GH or if later batches of Hex8A1 will be more efficient?

Hex8A1s not arrived yet so still in speculating mode.  Roll Eyes

UPDATE: Oh, I see they use 12x A1 chips per board to get 200GH/200W so not going to be that good with 8x. Aww. 17.5GH a chip.

17.5GH x 8 = 140GH @ 1GH/1W I estimate on the Hex8A1.
No, 12 chips are for the rig boards, desk boards have 8 chips,  clocked at 800MHz for 25GH/s per chip, 200GH per board.
That video is showing a Coincraft Desk unit, right?

Ah, Zefir answered that - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.5115284

Thats really cool if it's the same chips, and they only used 8x per CoinDesk board, I might see 200GH for 1GH/W then?  Cheesy
That's a lot of power cost for 60-80GH Turbo gain.

I will get upset if you do not post something like this Wink I am jocking of course do not push the board too much  Cheesy

My reject rate is little bit high due to my primary pool issues and moving back and forth to backup/primary, besides guld sucks in terms of rejects for me personally Grin
this is with Set diff-to-one 0 - i am testing it and it is looking good  Wink with tplink of course Wink
TO ALL - Such high clock and voltage values are not recommended Use them at your OWN RISK!!!!!

Grin Honestly I can't wait to post

This time i am very satisfied with speedy  Smiley
The parcel already cleared from custom. I just call DHL office & they said they will deliver the parcel tomorrow  Grin
Congrats Zich:)

Thanks loshia  Grin
Going to prepare new PSU tonight  Cheesy

Some hints for you Zih (and for the rest waiting for their boards to arrive).
1. Set you pool hex8 worker to mine at predefined diff 256 or 512 - will give you les rejects about 0.15% Smiley. The key point is to avoid adjusting your diff to often. The higher the better Smiley
2. Set diff-to-one 1 -   watch it closely HW error % and find your sweet spot in terms of clock and voltage
3. Set diff-to-one 0 - default value for a production run - which will give you less HW% and big speed variation, BUT you gonna have x diff less USB reads Wink better usb communication. You are not loosing/gainig Hashrate. you are just suffering from variation. Probably you are getting very small amount on top because of reduced USB reads which are deducing USB CRC errors
4. Wait for a day and post nice looking screen shot Cheesy
5. If you are inpatient and do not want to wait use diff-to-one 1 Smiley It is ok even for production run Wink
6. And post again Smiley
7. Finlay when you are done ssh/screen disable logging --quiet

Thanks loshia Smiley, this is what i need.
I will follow your way by setting at lower frequency & voltage then let it run for 24 Hour before push it to 260  Cheesy
