yes it works, but it is just a matter of time when my neighbors call the police or my girlfriend kicks me out. this device is ridiculous loud!!

You can do 260 @ 1050 or 1100 if you are brave.

Set default to hex8 int the web and do not be angry it will work
just a little bit of reading. Post all startup options voltage clock and so on. Fill all blanks in the web cgminer configure using defaults do not leave nothing blank
Do not forget to set user pass of tpli k if it is fresh install before that it is not getting any of your setings
i left difficulty blank. Now I set it to one and it is working @250GH/s with Frequeny 250 and 980mV. PSU still running stable.
Heatsink is not touchable
Up to 25 c room temp you are ok. You will get used to hot heatsink. If yo don't like it reduce clock power and hasrate

That one Fan on the top is EXTREMELY noisy
Anyway, i flashed tplink with the newest image, but cgminer won't start, it is not even in the showing up as a running process.
It will get recognized as HEX16A
error message in cgminer api log:

I was a bit annoyed myself with missing the end of the Feb batch.
I don't like the new ordering system, I preferred it when you could see every item counting down, had no idea it was close to ending.
But I don't want to risk the March batch with Bitfury 2 on the way either, no idea the price/specs, but Punin seemed very confident!
So even if you missed the Hex8A1, cheer up, we can look forward to seeing what Marto can do with the Bitfury 2 chips in March!

Shame they have sold out the pre production run. I was interested in one. If anyone is looking to sell one at a fair mark up i would be interested.

I would just hang fire. Someone might get 3x and realize they don't like the noise of 6x Sunon 4500rpm fans!
Someone on the TerraMine thread asked what the noise was like, and the reply was, "loud enough your wife will leave you if you don't switch it off".
Well Sunon 4500rpm are that noisy too!
Or you leave the wife first Apart of the jocks they are noisy and dangerous. I was thinking gator is not right about it but in fact he is.

In general you can live without a finger or two but what bothers me much is the electricity. So kids and wife's are forbidden! that is why I keep my stuff locked always and it is only me who goes there. That is what all of us should do to be able to enjoy our families. I have 15 Kw in my room wires everywhere. A single wrong move can cost a lot

so I just received 3 boards today.
I opened one board to check it and one fan is broken on the edges and some nuts are missing to keep the fans on the board....it is not a deal breaker, but the nuts should have been there
I will test the boards in the evening with my less powerful 40A PSU (still waiting on my new ones).
How do I have to set clock and voltage? Or should I just try to decrease the voltage until it is stable?
You can set all via web of tplink or you can read changelog all settings are inside. A friendly advise. DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN ONE BOARD TO 40 AMPS. NEVER! 40 amps at at the edge. Magic PSU smoke is very close I opened one board to check it and one fan is broken on the edges and some nuts are missing to keep the fans on the board....it is not a deal breaker, but the nuts should have been there

I did see the pictures you had only one PCI-E connected! A lot of multi rail PSUs (Platimax 1500W) have 30A rails I assume 2x 30A rails will be fine?
